I am planning to move to this area in the next couple of months toured with the manager she seemed great the property is very clean and well attended too!!! I have visited and called alot of apartments either no response back or no one in the office it was nice to visit a property and have someone take their time to answer all my questions I will be back for sure. Very impressed.

My husband and I have lived in the Melrose Apartments for nearly 18 months and we don't have plans to move in the near future. Our apartment is just the right size for our two person family needs. The layout keeps the apartment open to hosting gatherings of 8 people comfortably. The lighting in the apartment keeps the rooms well lit. The maintenance on the apartment has been timely. The location is also ideal if you're someone who's travelling up north or south often, as commuters, we are grateful for the location and designated parking per unit. I would definitely recommend!

Lived at the Melrose Apartments in Portland OR for about 2 1/2 years. My first experience was with Jarrell , very helpful manager. Even though we had cockroaches and a maggot problem , he did take care of that issue quickly. Then Avenue 5 changed management and had employed Cierra , Also very helpful and UNDERSTANDING of some of the situations my partner and I were going through at the time. Cierra had moved on and ONCE AGAIN Avenue 5 changed management to a women named Brittney and another women that at the time was working alongside her (unsure of her name). Things quickly became stressful. They

I have lived her for over a year. It is a nice quiet place. Everything is set up nice inside the apartment. It is well maintained. The manager has a great attitude and works with well with people. Very convenient location. Close to stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend anyone to live here.

My wife and I have lived at the melrose apartments for about a year and a half and have had an absolutely awesome experience with the location, conditions of living, and management interactions. When we first moved in they had actually let us move in before they had finished all the renovations because we had some time restrictions, but still communicated very effectively to arrange a time that was most convenient for us to have everything finished.

I love living at The Melrose! Only a few miles from great food trucks, new seasons, and some great bars.I have been thoroughly impressed with the property manager Debbie. She is improving many things at The Melrose such as parking, safety, and connecting the apartment community. I will 100% be renewing my lease!!

This is by far one of the best in terms of location, safety and being in a prime location. I've been here since April of 2018 and if there has ever been a problem, it usually takes about a day for them to respond. I would also like to add that they provide security that comes and walks around at night. I think this is a bonus seeing that at night there can be some characters hanging around (you'll see this anywhere though) so having this is a plus. I also love the friendliness of the people who work here as well. I think next April I will be renewing my lease they're also pretty

There are no other reviews for a reason, this place is not for you.
I was supposed to move here from CA, and found these apts on Apartments.com. They looked great and it seemed like it was a good place for the price. I didn't get a chance to tour the place beforehand and that was where I went wrong.
Made contact with the staff via email, and was greeted nicely and promptly. They answered my questions quickly which was nice, and I set a move in day OVER A MONTH IN ADVANCE. Now, this is where things get bad.
Two weeks before move in I e-signed the lease, happy days headed up to Portland
