We are happy to continue with small group classes in our safe studio enviornment as well as virtual classes. We hope to see familar and new faces in the variety of group classes offered weekly. Regarding our up coming Group Class Schedule, we are re-evaluating our class schedule mid-September. Please watch for some changes.

We now offer new Membership options. I hope that one will suit your needs. We also offer Private and Semi-Private Lessons and TRX training. We have a new system on our website for signing up and making payments. It is Glofox and you will be able to download the Glofox App which offers students easy access to booking classes plus has other advantages.

Peggy G. Normandin, Stott Pilates Certified is the owner of the Body Dynamics RI Pilates studio in Cumberland. A contemporary Pilates Studio. Body Dynamics offers group classes, small group training and private reformer training. Peggy has an extensive background in anatomy and physiology with a keen insight about how the body works in motion.

Pilates is a system of exercise that has been in the United States since 1926 when Joseph Pilates and his partner Clare settled in NYC after immigrating from Germany.
Bone is a living tissue which continuously regenerates itself in process known as remodeling. Bone formation is greater than bone resolution (breakdown) during youth and adolescence allowing us to build maximum bone density. Estrogen is one of the major preservers of bone tissue, keeping our bone breakdown in check through the middle years.
