I recently helped my son and his girlfriend move into the Alexander and couldn't have been more impressed with the quality of the apartments, the numerous amenities included for the price and the amazing help from the office staff. The girls in the office went above and beyond to make sure the move-in went smoothly, and they were always available to answer any of the questions we had. Overall, I give the Alexander an A+ and would recommend the complex to anyone in search of an apartment that feels "just like home" and is in a very safe environment.

We've lived here for 6 months and I cannot say ENOUGH good things about the complex and all of the people that work here. The complex is beautiful and very well kept up. I see maintenance literally 24/7- huge plus!! We had a lot of small random issues moving in and I felt like such a burden at one point after calling so many times, but they never once made me feel that way. We laughed about it in fact. Every time I have called or walked into the office about anything at all they have always been so helpful and understanding. For instance, I went in a couple weeks ago hoping to use the printer

If I could give this place a zero I would and the reason I would is because they are not good landlords let alone luxury apartments. When I first got here to check the place out I noticed a lot of uhauls going in and out and I thought nothing of it at first with the pandemic going on but now I know why everyone must have been leaving after experiencing how awful this place is. These people say on the front of their building and on flags outside how much they are open "during social distancing." Yet seem to give any tenant who actually pays to live there anything other than social distance

The Alexander is the place we need while we try to look for a home. The 1500 is a bit pricey but that is the lowest in the area! They have a lot of amenities and they are open late just in case you work late. Had some issues with parking at first but once that cleared up it's been fine and we've been able to park mostly in the same spot. I like it here which is more that you can say about most apartments!

By far this is the best place to live in Reno Amazing, high quality apartments with great and modern amenities. The best part is the people! Both the leasing staff and the maintenance staff are beyond helpful and nice and really make it a community feeling. Precautions and transparency during covid have been best in class! Don’t want to move anywhere anytime soon :)

The staff and management at this location do not seem to know what they are doing or they are crooks. My wife and I applied and were told that we don't have enough rental history. This is after we provided to them with all of our past addresses that we lived at for the past 5 years of rental history. They then started asking about addresses of my parents house from where I lived as a minor!! They were trying to charge us an extra security deposit because we do not have at least one year of rental history. I called them 3 times about it and after a very frustrating conversation they told me that

Being a farm boy, it is a hard transition to move into an apartment but Alexander was a great fit for us for when we first moved to the state. The location is perfect, as being near the freeway allowed quick access anywhere. The rates were exactly what we where looking for. Great amenities, my kids were most excited about the heated pool. The on call maintenance guys are great gentlemen, can't say enough good things about them. They treated my wife and kids with upmost respect, they where courteous, just salt of the earth guys. The maintenance actions were handled very quickly for us, zero complaints

I liked living here. Our move here was a corporate move, so our furniture was in storage and we made do with purchasing the bare necessities. Parking is ample - but no assigned spaces and you can get a single car garage. We had a three bedroom which was nice and spacious, close to amenities, and the staff is friendly and helpful. No recycling when we lived there, which surprised me, and hopefully that has changed. A couple of issues with mis-delivery of packages, but I wasn't aware of any major problems and I felt safe (It is also a gated community). Overall, a pleasant apartment experience - and

Moved in about 6 months ago and it's the best apartment living I have ever experienced! A one car garage was included in our rent, and for our other car; parking is so easy to get. Inside our apartment, all the outside noise is so minimal, you can hardly tell you have neighbors. Trash is easily accessible! It's just wonderful! Never thought I would make use of the clubhouse either, but it's so massive and so close that I just couldn't resist. It's definitely reasonably priced for everything that comes with your apartment/ in your rent! Management and Maintenance have never failed me either! The

I lived at here for a bit over a year, and it was a great experience. Complex is quiet and very well maintained. My one bedroom apartment unit was quite spacious and in excellent condition when I moved in. The complex is also in a great location, quick drive over to stores/freeway/trails. I only moved out because I relocated to another state, but would have happily extended my lease here. Highly recommended!

Apartments are very good. Their clubhouse and pools are excellent. The staff is very prompt and helpful. Maintenance requests were fulfilled immediately. They replaced air filters and batteries when needed. I lived there for 3 years and did not have any problem. IT WAS AN EXTREMELY REWARDING EXPERIENCE OVERALL.

Great place to live when figuring out where you want to buy a house and get to know the neighborhoods. Easy move in,helpful staff. Maintenance people are great and very timely.
Would recommend. Clean grounds and the apts. have a roomy feel even the one bdrm we rented.
And the office has Peets coffee available for FREE which is a bonus...

The property is beautiful and the staff is phenomenal. The manager, Brittany is always on top of things and follows up regularly with the tenants. They have security patrol that drives and walks around the property throughout the night. They have one of the best pools in town and a MOVIE ROOM! It is well worth the money!

I’ve lived at The Alexander for a few months now and I absolutely love it! The staff is amazing! They’re always available to help with whatever you need. The amenities are awesome! And the apartment floor plans are really nice. The only thing that I would change is the wall cut out for the TV in the living room, it took a little work to mount my TV. But besides that I love my apartment!

Management or corporate office discriminates against retired people. In order to qualify, you have to show monthly income that is 2.5 times the $1425 monthly rent. If you just have lots of $$$ in your bank account and request to pay for a 13 month lease up front they will deny you. Office staff is rude, they don't want to be bothered. As far as the advertised anemeties, the office girls could care less. I have half a mind to contact my friends at KTVN.

Excellent sales staff. Very friendly and courteous. Very professional. Complex is clean and very well maintained. Great pool area. The apartments are nicely laid out. Full size laundry. The kitchen is large with granite countertops. Nice size refrigerator. My one bedroom is very spacious. Nice shutters. Not plastic. Ceiling fans on the living room and bedroom.

I've lived in a few places over the past few years and the Alexander was among one of the nicest places I have resided. The staff including Marissa, Tyler and everyone were ALWAYS gracious, attentive and cheerful. I never had any issues with the neighbors, noise level or any inconveniences at all. My tell tale sign of a good management team is when things go wrong. My refrigerator went out when I was traveling and there were no questions asked and I had a new one immediately, they even offered to replace the food that had went bad. I am reading some of the poor reviews on here especially

My partner and I came here to have a tour of the apartments and the lady that gave us the tour was snobbish and rude. She was rushing us as if we took time out of her day to do that tour. Mind you, we were the only ones there and that IS part of her job. The apartments were nice but the master bedrooms don't even have a walk-in closet, just a small sliding closet that can fit maybe just one person's collection clothes. You can find much better apartments in the area for the same price range or even lower with better apartment designs and that have staff that is willing to do their job

Extremely pricey, no parking and office staff is incredibly rude. Charged an additional $400 to move out on top of paying for an additional month of rent $1550 for breaking my lease one month before the full year which was never explained during lease signing. Ridiculous! Maintenance staff was the best thing about this place. Happy to own a home now with a mortgage less than this overpriced apartment.

The good: 2 stars because the clubhouse is nice (although we rarely used it for anything), decent appliances, and built within the past decade (new).
The bad: Do ANY of the residents actually use their garage to park their cars? Or just as a storage container? Parking is at a premium here. Although this place is new, the walls are super thin. We had some kids spend the weekend with us once and our downstairs neighbor immediately complained the entire weekend.
It may be a requirement to own a dog here. The amount of dog urine that is built up in the astroturf areas can probably be smelt

There are many detailed reviews listed here with all the pros and cons. It would make no difference if I rewrite all of them. What I would like to conclude here is that The Alexander complex is a gorgeous place. Ladies in the office and the maintenance team go above and beyond to keep it clean, beautiful and comfortable for the renters.
I truly appreciate all their hard work. They put awesome decorations for every holiday in a club house. Plus, they organize get together events with delicious food.
