Have lived here for about a month now. The property manager was awesome during the whole tour and lease signing process. Was quick to answer any questions I had including some obscure ones.
Building is in a fantastic location with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Located right on the Greenway with easy access from the bike storage room. An added bonus is the Greenway section by the building is sponsored by a church and has an awesome garden with many plants! Work out room is small but has enough equipment for a good workout. Community areas inside and out have plenty of

I've lived here for a year and have been very happy so far. Great location, lots of good restaurants nearby, and a door that brings you right onto the Greenway, making it easy to bike anywhere. The units are huge, tons of space and good storage. There is a nice rooftop deck with views of downtown and a grill and fireplace, and a similar patio area downstairs as well with more grills and seating areas. The fitness room is very nice, not huge but usually not busy. There is also plenty of parking along Garfield for when guests are over, which is key for an uptown apartment.

I’ve lived at the Murals for about 3 years now and I love it. The whole complex is quiet, and residents follow the quiet hours. The complex is always well taken care of. It is cleaned every morning inside and outside of the complex. The windows gets clean, grassed trimmed and even have yearly flowers/plants planted. And recently had a paint job and new carpets! The lobby is also amazing with concierge and Apple computers for anyone to use and print. There’s also a new coffee machine added this year. The community room and gym are also one of the nice highlights in this building. In the community

Warning: A whole lot of gushing in this review! The Murals of Lynnlake is so well run, organized and designed, it takes rental living to a whole new level. What an amazing deal for the price. Spacious and spotless. Space galore, no more living in box like rooms. Every detail right down to the placement of outlets so well designed. Hugh closets. Functional and beautiful lighting. Inviting shared spaces. Great feng shui. Right next to the Greenway.A beautiful garden. Convenient location. Appliances so smart, I think I'll invite them to my peer reviews. Glorious large windows for those

I moved into the Murals of Lynlake this past summer and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. The location is right next to the greenway and located within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The price is very reasonable, especially when compared to surrounding apartment complexes. We absolutely love our two bedroom apartment. It’s very open with a beautiful view. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

My husband and I moved in with our cat and dog in December 2019, and we've said multiple times how lucky we are that we did. It's been awesome having so many awesome restaurants nearby, super easy access to the Greenway and bike rentals, and enough space for us to both work from home. They treat residents like humans and the gardens are such a nice feature.

The Murals of LynLake is the ideal spot to live in Minneapolis! The building has a hotel feel and apartments have open floor plans and let in so much natural sunlight. Direct access to the Greenway bike path which spans across town, Kyoko Sushi, Up Down, Lagos Tacos, and so many other hot spots are within walking distance-- there is always something to do! I love living here!

When I was looking for an apartment, I focused on the actual living space and the community. The community of where you live strongly impacts your quality of life.
Murals is a good combination of a lively, friendly community without it being loud. It is pet friendly, but it is also very clean! The maintenance and cleaning crew do a fantastic job, especially during the pandemic.
The living space is also nice. Lots of counter space with modern appliances.
The building is right on the greenway, and I usually take it to the lakes for my afternoon run when I work remotely.
I definitely would recommend

For context, I’ve had just about every kind of housing situation there is. I’ve been taken advantage of and been stuck dealing with horrible roommates, tenants, landlords and surprise health violations in quite a few of those situations. The Murals is hands down the best place I have ever lived. Recently with the nearing end of my lease and needing to expand into a bigger apartment, and after scouring the internet for a new home, I just kept coming back to how great my time here was and how well respected and safe and cared for I have felt the whole time living here and have yet to find something

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the murals. The building is clean, the staff are very good at what they do. As long as you keep your end of the contract, they’ll keep theirs.
Fantastic location, next to the greenway. I have no problems with giving this apartment my first ever 5 stars.
If you are looking for a modern, clean, and quiet place to stay amidst the fun and lively uptown area, I’d highly recommend the Murals.
Fantastic!
The front desk people live in the building, and Steve the maintenance person is always working away on something important. I’m honestly sad to be leaving this

I would recommend living at The Murals of LynLake to anyone. I lived in a studio apartment in the building for a year (2018-2019). Perfect location -- close to the greenway and all of what uptown has to offer. The building is clean, quiet, and secure. The staff are what set this apartment apart from others. The two women in the office are super friendly and always helpful. Any building maintenance announcements or security concerns are communicated in a timely manner. The maintenance staff are professional and courteous. I had no issues during move out and received my full deposit back. Great place

I'm so excited I get to call this place home! I'm absolutely in love with the location, the amenities, the cleanliness of the building, and the staff! The best thing about this though? I feel like you get the most bang for your buck! I looked at apartments forever before deciding on this one. You get a ton of square feet for the best price per square foot. I looked at other luxury apartments that were more square feet for twice as much, or half as much but for not enough cost savings. This is truly a hidden gem! Once you move in - you'll never want to leave!

Poor customer service. I have been apartment hunting and calling to find out the rates. I spoke to the leasing office and the lady was so rude. She didn't want to answer any of my questions and kept pushing me to come and take a look at the apartments. In the end she kept the phone in frustration. Won't be leasing here.

The Murals is a great place to live - the staff is lean, but very helpful and engaged. There are monthly happy hours provided at no cost to you where you can meet and mingle with other tenants and the staff, and you have great access to Uptown eating, drinking and even the Greenway. If you enjoy biking, you're barely ten minutes from Lake Calhoun, too. Heated parking garage, a quality fun area you can reserve with a pool table and TVs and fireplace, grills, and great views of Uptown and the city.

Aluminum windows condensate during cold temperatures. They drip all winter with any living (cooking, showering, dishwasher, etc...) and freeze at the coldest temps. Management company has no plan to fix and the lease requires you to maintain the mess for them. When you sign the lease there is no detailed explanation of this clause so definitely ask before you sign.

The only real solution right now is to keep your central air fan running and the blinds open on 8 foot tall windows to reduce the condensation in your apartment and on the windows. Running a fan when it is cold outside with blinds

I lived at the Murals from March 2014 to March 2015. Overall, I was very impressed with the apartments. In general, I would recommend this to many people, however, it's not for everyone.

Staff: Very friendly. Don't be a lousy resident and they'll treat you with respect and friendliness.

Maintenance: Probably the best I've experienced. They're ALWAYS there on time or before replacing/fixing whatever needs to be done.

Cleanliness: Building - Great! Apartment Move-In - okay. Grounds - Good except for neighbors that don't pick up after their dog, but that&apos

I moved into the Murals in August, 2013 & have to say that things appear to have changed since the 2 previous reviews- that were quite negative. I love it here and it's located in a fantastic area. I've found the new manager & co-manager to be VERY friendly & personable, finding time to get to know my family and me, as well as going above and beyond with helping me get to know the uptown area. I have other friends in the area who pay higher rent rates at other complexes, with equal or less quality of living. My sister moved in first & I loved it so much that my daughter

While they love to advertise as being on the midtown greenway and being very 'bike friendly', they allow motorcycles to park in front of the bike storage area. In most parking garages, diagonal striped lines are an indication that "you shouldn't be parking here" - At the Murals of LynLake in Minneapolis, diagonal stripes mean "Permitted Motorcycle Parking" - even when that's directly in front of a wall where people are hanging bikes on hooks! Once you've properly injured yourself trying to vertically hang your bicycle inches from a 600lb immobile motorcycle

Hello. So I just signed up for yelp to write an amazing review about the apartment building I just moved to ( not murals). And then. I thought, actually I should write about Murals. This is the first bad review I have ever written. The experience I had at Murals was anything but hospitable. We were moving from the East coast and gave a deposit before we even saw place. The women was so hard to work with! But she kept claiming that they were the most luxurious place in the area and that you could see the lake and were steps away from Calhoun square. They were 6 blocks away from Calhoun, were not
