These bar end adapters are required if you wish to add clamp-style bar ends to your Bontrager Satellite Plus Isozone handlebars. Odyssey's custom-designed Par Ends come standard with all of their grips. Its special plastic composite will not shatter like cheap bar ends do, and they're very lightweight.
Zipp's Tangente Cork Brake Pads are perfect for Zipp wheels with carbon braking surfaces. They are made of a composite cork polymer for consistent brake response and to reduce glazing from the intense heat caused by braking on carbon. As a result, the Tangente cork pads avoid the brake pulsation produced by residue buildup from rubber pads and can even eliminate pulsation from rims with previous buildup.

Solid experience, but generally that neighborhood, along with the Stanford area, has a bit of an classist arrogance amongst its populace, which is common as that neighborhood is typically associated with high-income individuals.
Nevertheless, I had a handful of decent experiences here. The first initial 2 drop ins were a bit socially awkward but overall I felt heard. An older gentlemen talked condescendingly of my mountain bike, which I bought from a homeless guy named Dave, for 20 dollars outside of Starbucks, down the road from 1 Hacker Way. I was in need of a box to send my wheel back to the manufacturer for a warranty issue. I called them to see if they had one and the guy I spoke with said they had one, because they had just received a shipment of wheels, and he could leave it up front for me and that they would charge me $10. Wait a minute... you want to charge me for some thing that you were going to have to recycle and I am going to come take it off of your hands? You have to be kidding me. Nope, "I have to charge you for it" he says. Now not only are they not going to get their $10 for that box but they have also lost

I don't normally write reviews unless they are positive, but whoever answers the phone is extremely condescending and not particularly helpful. He was not willing to work through a problem and only redeemed a star because he was able to confirm they had a certain product in stock. But then, he immediately said I shouldn't buy it like he knows anything about my project. Not like I'll be supporting this business anyway.

I have worked with this shop off and on for the last 20 years. I trust the employees and love the vibe. They will leave you alone to browse or give you attention if you want it. The guys in service are hands down some of the best; they are honest and hard working…they also ride. I purchase all of my personal biking needs and equipment from this shop because I believe its important to support ones local bike shop. Having run a bike program at work, I turned to this shop for service, advice and equipment as well. Most importantly, I dropped into this shop for a smile and casual conversation. Over

The guys working here are the rudest salespeople i have ever interacted with. i spent 3k on a bike, had to wait months for it's arrival, and then when it finally arrived, they wouldn't even take the time to SIZE the bike for me. I asked them to help me fit it to my height, since I am a new biker, and not only did they refuse, but instead they began to complain about how customers assume their services accompany the purchase of a bike... I am not sure why these people are so rude and unhelpful... But they really ought to re-learn some customer service, because they have absolutely none

Went in. Asked for them to fix the wheel on my electric skate board. They said they wouldnt be able to because of the policy. That was fine but the guy in the back for the shop was very rude when explaining this to me.
On the way back from having our bike repaired one of the break cables was not connected. It was easy to slip it back in. But if we were going faster when we noticed it might have been a big yikes

Sold me very expensive bike shorts that turned out to have an itchy tag inside. Did a tuneup on my bike and it came out with an additional problem it didn't have going in, they only wanted to charge me half price on the tuneup and said it didn't really need anything but I wonder if that's because something went wrong when opening up the internal hub and they didn't want to touch it after that.

I attempted to get my bike (which I modified to be electric with a kit) serviced here. Unfortunately there is too much liability associated with kit ebikes and ebikes in general so their policy is not to work with ebikes they didn’t sell. While it didn’t help me or my bike I do understand and agree with their reasoning and they were very polite. I hope that as ebikes become more popular this issue will be resolved with a waiver or something so that local bike shops can service peoples ebikes without fear of additional liability.

I love this store and the guys who work there! Everyone is so friendly and super knowledgeable. We are a five person family and have bought all of our bikes from this store. We’ve come back for extra peripherals, tune-ups, and tire repairs. I’ve even gone for pumping of air in our tires. Everyone is so welcoming, efficient, and capable!

I have to say I've had the best experience in this store. I believe they are the best in Bay Area so far after going to several stores in the past year. They did an amazing job building my bike. They patiently helped me through finding what's right for me without trying to just be salesmen. And the professional bike fit they did for me was life changing!!! Jameson is so knowledgeable and will fit your bike to perfection, no matter how many times you need to go there and adjust your fit.

Excellent service!!
I was able to book and get the assembled Trek road bike on the same day. I was able to test ride before the purchase and all the specifications where explained very nicely. Got a lot great insights about cleaning, oiling and maintaining your bike. Very much satisfied with the purchase and service.

My husband needed some new Sidi cycling shoes since his old ones broke. The experience was bad since we walked into the store, as the staff member asked how he could help and my husband told him about the shoes, he immediately looked at his watch (as if he just wouldn't really have time for us). Apparently they close at 5 on Sundays, but we came in at least 15 minutes before that. His general tone was very condescending and rude, and we got the sense that he did not want to help us at all even before knowing what exact shoes my husband was looking for. He would not even look them up in the

Everything about my experience with Palo Alto Bicycles was a good experience. Came in to get a bike and was helped By Nick who got me all set up and out the door with my new bike. After my first ride with it, I realized I needed to make some additional adjustments than from when I left the shop the day before. I called to see if I could get a few changes made to my setup, and without any issue, I was able to get the bike adjusted. Jamison was really helpful and had great suggestions to help make the adjustments. Al in all, very happy to have purchased my bike from this shop. Great experience.

Needed a few bike parts to finish my bike.
I decided to go here passing two other bikes shops closer to me because I had a previous good experience.
The people up front were nice and friendly.
When I got to the service dept. there was a man who didn't even seem like he wanted to help me. I told him I needed a headset bearing and handed him my old one. He asked me what's it for?
So thinking he didn't hear me I replied it's for a headset. This is where he replies rudely and rolls his eyes "I know it's for a headset what kind of bike?" So I took the part back and

I had some service done this week on my bike and could not be more pleased with the experience and the outcome. They apologized for not being able to do the repair I wanted while I waited, which I was not even asking for or expecting. They completed the repair exactly when they estimated and called me when they were done. They fixed the problem, which I had tried to fix myself but lacked the tools and the skills (though I have a lot of both), and Nico spent some time explaining to me what he did and how. I was then charged exactly half of what I was expecting to pay. I now enjoy the improvement

I went in to get two new tire on my bike because they chave Trek products. Service department said to come back in 30 minutes. He didn't ask what tires I wanted, so I assume that he would put the same tires H2 back which they had in stock. When I came back, he had put some cheap continental tires on instead of H2 tires. He then tried to tell me there were a better value because they were cheaper & stronger. He was lucky I was pressed for time. I will be buying my Trek Dual Sport 4 from Walt's in Sunnyvale now.

I write this with some hesitation, recognizing that bicycle shops are deemed essential businesses, which means that the hard working employees at these establishments are facing higher risks because of their daily interactions with the public. However, after numerous negative experiences at this shop, I feel it is necessary to share my encounters. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the sales end of the store, but the service area leaves a lot to be desired. The shop is right around the corner from my office, so, despite the rude and cold guy who often mans the service counter,

A huge shout out to Patrick, Jeff and Ron - thanks for making my dream bike a reality!
The expertise, instruction and patience from Patrick was greatly appreciated, as a newbie to the sport I had a lot of questions. And to Ron for calling it, a chat during my first visit - you knew exactly what would work. Nailed it, mic drop. And to Jeff, Thank You for that discussion on the phone prior to pick up.
If ever in question, this is THE bike shop for your cycle needs. A huge fan!
