Our shop opened in 1953 with Spence Wolf as the owner. We have records dating back to 1954 - at which time we could sell a high end Cinelli road bike, complete, for $67.50! My, how times have changed. Next time you visit the Cupertino Bike Shop for a tube, chain, or even a new bike, take some time to examine the large collection of bicycle memorabilia displayed between the bike parts.

The walls are covered in pins, signed photos and jerseys, the shop's original sign hangs from the ceiling, and Greg Lemond's first professional racing bike hangs above the door. Cupertino Bike Shop was opened in 1953, and started selling Gary Fisher mountain bikes in 1982. Today the shop carries mainly Specialized mountain bikes, as well as a large selection of road bikes, tandems, and bicycle parts and accessories.
Services
It's cool to go fast, but it's only fun if you're comfortable. Sadly, speed and comfort rarely come together, but the Turbo Como 3.0 650b is out to change that. With a comfortable geometry, a sleek, stylish design, and our exclusive, award-winning technology, you'll get an extra jolt of power that'll make riding just as fun as it is functional.
Don't get us wrong, we're all for racing. Grand Tour top steps, Classic's Monuments-they're in our DNA. But sometimes riding simply to ride, riding for the love of riding, is just what we need. And this is what the Aethos lives for. Sure, it's given nothing up to performance, and happens to be the lightest frame out there, but with no compromise to style.
If you live by that old saying that you should scare yourself a little every day, the P.Series P.3 is your huckleberry. Our hardtail freestyler delivers a bombproof ride with versatile geometry that shines whether you're in the park, on a flow trail, or launching loading docks.

MORE HUCK FOR THE BUCK We outfitted the P.Series P.3 with the best parts we could find, like a RockShox Pike DJ suspension fork with all the trimmings: Solo Air spring, external rebound adjustment, and Motion Control low-speed compression dampening, to keep your takeoffs tight and your landings smoother than a model in a cologne ad.RUGGED INDIVIDUALIST Look, you're gonna wad it up now and then.
Your little tike might love to ride, but given that they're still growing like a weed, the big-kid-trail-shredder bike can probably wait a few years. That's why Specialized made their Hotrock 20 with plenty of gear range to tackle the neighborhood hills, and enough front end travel to ride beginner's trails confidently.
The EZ-Classic SX is the perfect entry-level recumbent. With its smooth ride and comfortable, stable position, it's designed to provide years of use. And with 21 gears to choose from, it'll be a dream to pedal over most terrain. The EZ-Sport CX is a step up from the EZ-1-more responsive and more efficient.

Super helpful and friendly. They can also cut spokes to length which is a phenomenal service as these days - parts are hard to come by.

I had a Canyon, whose pedal has worn out the slot. 8 stores suggested replacing the whole Crank, with extra 200$ cost and 2 months delay. Vance is a wizard and came up with a solution to fix the slot. Kudos to Cupertino Bike Shop !

This is a great bike shop. The service is friendly, knowledgable, and genuine. They sell and service Specialized brand bikes. I recently bought mid-tier road bike from them and I was very happy with my purchase and the service.

This is a storied name in Bay Area bicycle history. Much of the Spence Wolf legacy and tradition lives on under the stewardship of current owner Vance Sprock. I've been doing business here for more than 25 years. All your modern bicycle needs can be provided for at Cupertino Bike Shop, and if you need something specific done, and they can't do it, they know someone who can. If you are more of a fan of vintage cycling, as I am, this shop is an excellent resource as well -- ask for Greg Davis (not in on Saturdays) and take a look at what is hanging in the rafters and on the walls.

Came to the bike shop expecting to be educated and to purchase a bike to get to school but honestly I felt rushed right out the door when I came in asking to purchase a commuter bike. They told me they didn't have any sold there last one. Showed me two bikes and then told.me to go check out another bike shop. Only thing I learned was I need a medium sized bike and that I should go to Pal Alto. That was my first bike shop experience it will also my last seems like they cater to a specific clientele and I guess I'am not it.

I've been coming to Cupertino Bike Shop for some 20+ years and have always had a great shopping experience. Whats special about this locally owned bike shop is the depth of knowledge and experience that the staff has. Plus if you are looking for that slightly older hard to find bike part, chances are they have it or know where to find it. Cupertino Bike Shop also has a great selection of the latest bikes and components available at a fair price. Another awesome thing about the shop is that it has the feel of a bike museum. With many bits of history and vintage bikes on display to look at and appreciate

This shop has been very good to me for many years, and I am really perplexed by reviews that say anything different.
They helped me with a difficult restoration of a `69 Cinelli, crash replacement parts on a modern bike, custom bike builds, and untold repairs and wheel building. These guys know their business, and it's one of the few shops where I'm confident that they know a lot more about bikes than I do. Is it more expensive than mail order? Sometimes, but certainly not always. Beyond that, getting a "deal" on the wrong parts is no deal at all. Does that headset have the right stack height
