After two separate people recommended going to Nichols to service my Ducati, I knew it was the right place to go. Took the Italian mistress in for the desmo service and Will was great - real easy to work with and a great guy.
Wish I had more time to stick around and chat but will come back again and recommend anyone else looking to service their Ducati!

Adore Will! Brought my 2012 Ninja 250R for it's first service since it was purchased. Will is the best!
I was new to Ducati maintenance, and asked how i could save some money on a belt and valve check on my new to me Hypermotard. He suggested I bring the bike in with as many parts removed as possible to save on labor. I did this with the hyper, a 749, and multistrada and got pretty good at taking them apart before bringing them in for service. On one occasion, while putting the bike back together after a belt change, I forgot to 'click' the spark plug wire back onto the plug and it popped off and got caught in the belt and jumped several teeth. I brought my "Old beloved" '97 Ducati 900 Monster, with Will not start problem.
Where all other shops turn me away, William received me with Open Arms!!
After a few weeks he had the Beast Running and Thumping!!!
Its sooo much fun!
William rebuilt the Starter, and replaced some electrical parts..

It's been a decade since my first review so I thought I would give an update. William is one of those old-school mechanics that are pretty rare these days- smart, dependable, experienced, honest, and reasonable. Whatever the problem is William will diagnose it, fix it the right way the first time, and get you back on the road pronto (unlike some shops where your bike disappears for months and the problem is not fixed right the first time). You know it's a good shop when the mechanic doesn't mind you watching him work and it's always a pleasure to watch William work his craft

Yet another stellar service from William. Brought in my 2020 Suzuki SV650 for a 4K and tire replacement. The guy goes above and beyond for his customers, checking everything, even stuff you didn't ask for, or forgot to ask about.
I'm riding almost every day now, and having access to a master mechanic you can trust is very confidence inspiring.

Came back to William again, this time with a different bike. Suspected there was a very expensive issue with the bike as it was not able to hold a charge before and I always found myself having to use a trickle charger every single night to keep the bike powered. I even replaced the battery and the problem persisted. He discovered it wasn't as big an issue as I thought it would be and that I just needed a different battery (the replacement battery I had gotten just so happened to be one he didn't recommend for the bike). He kept the bike in shop for a number of days to really make sure

Will is the Master Tech who has superb knowledge and skills on servicing, maintaining my Ducati. He has always been helpful and generous resolving my issues left and right. I used to have my Panigale serviced at the "Dealer" and after 3 visits and $$$ spent, their Master Tech was never able to fully resolved my clutch issue until Will took it over. I'm so glad that I don't have to be constantly worried about losing my clutch anymore. You wont regret it, he is the best!

Best place to get your motorcycle serviced. William is the best you can find for Ducati or any other sport bike. He is skilled, fast and get you going within time. Also, his suggestions are honest and charges very normally for manual labor, wont burn your pocket.

I just bought a 2007 Ducati Classic Sport 1000S motorcycle from a showroom in SF. I was kinda scared riding it home to Newark. I remember seeing a post on CL on a place in Milpitas that service Ducati's so I search ip the internet and it leads me to NICHOLS. I took my bike for inspection and whatever it needs for being vintage with high mileages. I was greeted by William with a big smile and gave me some history about my bike. He a took a picture for his gf to see what his servicing today. He let me rest on a couch in front and worked on it for exactly 1 hr as estimated in the beginning. He

Got a flat on my way to work and limped my bike into Nichols Sportbikes around 11 am and was out the door all fixed up by 1 pm even though they had to order and pick up a new tube. William did a great job and was a very cool and pleasant guy to deal with. I plan to take my bike back for all my mc shop needs. Thanks again William.
