I've been to schools all over the country and this school is not only the best in Harrisonburg but one of the top schools in the country! Best decision ever! I signed my twin seven year old boys up for their first karate class in late September. Almost immediately, both their teachers and I noticed dramatic improvements in their behavior.

Great school! My boys have been attending for the last two years and have come so far physically and with responsibility, confidence, and patience. I found BMK through Google search when I decided to enroll the boys in karate and am so glad we went with them. Very highly recommend for kids and adults.

My son has been attending karate classes at Brian Mayes Karate since February I would highly recommend them I was impressed on how clean and sanitized the environment is , in just a short time my son went from a quiet shy little boy to a little boy who has gained such confidence and focus The staff is very friendly and welcoming to all .They treat everyone with respect and courtesy , encouraging a positive environment . My son always looks forward to his classes , His teacher is well trained and patient with the children. All the teachers will offer help to everyone and truly care about there students

Been practicing martial arts for over 3 years at the BMK studio and recently got my black belt there. The atmosphere is super positive, great place for kids, young people and adults. Classes adapt to your skill level, there are lots of different activities for everyone to enjoy. The staff is friendly and instructors are dedicated to their students. The programs are oriented to develp discipline, consistency and to challenge yourself physically and mentally. 10/10 would recommend!

I can’t say enough how thankful I am for Brain Mayes Karate, and all the different ways this program has helped each of my children. I am a mom of three awesome kids....with different personalities, strengths, and areas for improvement. Not only has this program strengthened their physical abilities, it has also strengthened them individually mentally, in the ways that each of them needed most. In short it has helped gear their attitudes, given them confidence, helped them to have a positive outlook...but more over a place to learn, mess up, and learn again without feeling defeated.
