I lived here for the past two years while completing my residency at Duke. It was close enough for me to ride my bike to work and not far from downtown Durham. I always felt safe and enjoyed fellowship with the neighbors. They also sponsor a good number of community events which allowed me to discover various restaurants around Durham. The office staff was professional and extremely helpful. The Maintenance staff is the absolute best! They were always very timely and friendly to myself and my dog as we went for walks. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend.

I have lived at Forest Pointe the past 2 years and it is a great, quiet complex. Someone called it a "hidden gem" in a past review and it really is. The grounds are well maintained and my unit is in good shape; repairs are also made quickly. They care about the apartments and the people who live here. My unit is on the bottom floor and the occasional roach can be found, but I know the complex sprays, and what can you expect in Durham in the summer. Rent is also a very reasonable price, especially for the quality of the complex and the good location near both Duke and the interstate. I highly recommend

The neighborhood is so nice and quiet. Everyone is pretty much friendly.. I'm not the type to get to know my neighbors I just like to work and come home. But everyone out here is very respectful and I love that. Awesome neighborhood.

These reviews helped me make my decision to move here and so I am leaving a 5-star review to help future tenants make their decisions with their move. I've lived here for over a month and it has been a great experience. Community events are fun and engaging. The staff here is very responsive and friendly. Units are nice and clean. Neighbors are very pleasant and quiet, except for one instance when there was a party at night, I did not complain but I think some other people did and as a result an email was sent out and it didn't happen again since then. Also in regards to somebody complaining about

So we have lived in the complex going on our 4th year and it keeps getting better. The staff is kind and helpful, they are revamping the fitness center, we jave garden spaces for uses, maintenance is fast and efficient and everyone is always willing to help make sure my family is safe. Thank you Forest Pointe!

I moved here in December from a not so great apartment complex in Durham. Forest Pointe has exceeded my expectations. It is such a quiet area and the units are beautiful. The rent is reasonable and what you get makes it completely worth it. I wish I had found out about this place much sooner. I love living here. Everyone in the community has been extremely kind :)

I'm reviewing based on a review from Joy W. I cannot understand how your electric bill is so off the chart for these apartments. I live in a one bedroom and my power bill has never exceeded $75 even in winter with heat. I must admit I'm very aware of my power usage. I'd like to suggest you check your windows to see if there are any leaks. I did have some leaks and maintenance addressed them quickly. I don't know the size of your apartment or how many people are living there. Perhaps Duke Power will come out for an evaluation inside the apartment to assess where energy use is occurring. They do

Coming all the way from CA, I was looking for an apartment to rent during my time at school here and the staff made it so easy and were so helpful. Definitely felt incredibly welcomed. The apartment complex is perfect for students or anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to live. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff is friendly and always prompt if anything needs to be addressed! Definitely recommend this place

These apartments are a hidden gem in Durham. They are located very close to downtown, as well as 85, 70 and 147. The staff is super friendly and prompt if something needs to be addressed. The apartments have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, central heating and hardwood floors, all for what I consider a fair rent price point. I would recommend living here to anyone!

I have lived at Forest Pointe for nearly two years and have recently renewed and upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment. I expect to live here until I finish my graduate work at Duke, and even after should I continue to stay in the area.

To begin, Forest Pointe apartments could not be more affordable considering where in Durham it is. Duke University's East Campus is within walking distance, and safety has never been a concern or issue. Costco, a Kroger grocery store, Home Depot, and other many other stores are also within walking distance at North Pointe Shopping Center. A short five minute

Forest Pointe is absolutley horrific. I wouldn't even give it 1 star and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. At first, everything seemed nice, but after being here for 1.5 years, I can now sing a different tune. Brooke, the property manager, is rude and prissy, and doesn't like when tenants complain about the complex not holding up to their end of the lease agreement. When it snowed in February, 2015 it took them a week to remove the snow and ice from the side walks of the small grounds. All of my other friends who live in MUCH larger complexes

I toured this place to check out apartments. This place seemed fairly, well maintained, spacious with ample parking. The units stayed fairly cool in the summertime even without the air conditioning running. Every unit had washer and dryer installed. Choice of carpet or hardwood flooring. The living room has crown molding, to make it look clean and modern. Kitchen and bathroom were nicely ceramic tiled. Appliances look fairly new. Several one bedroom apartments with various square footage (600,650, 700 sq ft.) The location was very close to the I-80 highway which provided a constant traffic noise
