We lived here for almost 3 years. Here’s the pros and cons you need to know!
Pros:
-Incredible Location: You’re a walks away from everything! Oregon district, dragons stadium, and the metro park. It’s also in the fire blocks district which is growing.
-Decent bang for your buck: As far as downtown lofts go, last I checked, this is one of the cheaper ones.
-Cool apartments: They’re not the most updated, but the big windows over looking the city really takes the cake.
Cons:
-Paper thin walls: You can hear everything. If your neighbor falls asleep with the TV on, so do you now. Get in

We've definitely enjoyed our time living here. The on-site management is great and the maintenance team is quick and responsive. You do get the normal issues like thin walls and noisy neighbors, but that's to be expected with apartment living. The only issue we've had has been the giant windows not being very energy efficient, but that should change since they're installing modern windows this summer.

I lived here the past year and I believe its the best moderately priced option for Downtown Dayton. While downtown Dayton is not a booming metropolitan area like Chicago or Columbus, downtown businesses are growing and St Clair is right near them. Without even crossing the street you have a studio gym (barre, TRX), boutique, and a cupcake shop. Just down the block is Oregon District, which has restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and boutiques.

I absolutely LOVED living at the St Clair Lofts from 2009 until 2011. I actually had TWO apartments there. Both spaces were beautiful. I really miss it. I work downtown, so it was super convenient. Mark Sutton was my leasing agent at the time. He was extremely thorough and polite. He and I remain friends to this day! His customer service relations are definitely top notch. It was actually a determining factor in my decision with moving forward to sign a lease with St Clair Lofts. He answered every question or concern I had without being dismissive. I appreciated that. I highly recommend this property

I lived at the St Clair Lofts for 5 years and it was one of the best places I’ve ever lived downtown. The staff, especially Mark Sutton, was amazing, genuine, and always friendly. Mark specifically, had customer service skills that was unmatched. If you’re going to live downtown, I would definitely recommend the St Clair Lofts!

I've been a resident at The St. Clair Lofts for about 2 years and I couldn't have found a better apartment. The location is perfect and it's just a short walk to the Oregon District, the Dayton Public Library, the Dayton Dragon's stadium, and a number of bars and restaurants. The units have ample space and most offer in unit laundry which was great! The fitness center and community room are great amenities to the building, allow for convenient workouts and computer/printing access if needed. The building staff is fantastic, friendly and they promptly respond to any maintenance

It's been six days since we've moved out and not a day too soon. I was so excited about my first apartment and living in close proximity to downtown that I didn't see the glaring problems with St. Clair Lofts. Keep in mind that this is a renovated factory, so it's a very old building. Let's start with the good.
The good:
1. Like I stated before, St. Clair Lofts is close to everything like The Oregon District, Brown Street, The Victoria Theatre and Schuster Center, the library, and Riverscape just to name a few. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and clubs within walking

I've lived at the St. Clair Lofts for two years and have been nothing but happy during my time here. I've recommended The Lofts to countless friends for a number of reasons. The location is excellent; the staff are friendly, helpful, and take time to know all the tenants; maintenance is responsive; and the apartments are beautiful. I also appreciate the security measures in place in the building, the friendly neighbors, and the convenience of the community room and gym in the building. This has been my first experience living in an urban setting. I was worried about parking, but with the meters on the street, you can park between 6pm and 8am for FREE. So we have been parking for free, the building is super secure and safe. You have to be buzzed in to enter without a key. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have had every issue fixed within days of reporting them. I love the 10' x 10' windows in our apartment. We have brand new hardwood floors and new carpet. It's surprisingly pretty quiet and I've never heard our neighbors. You will hear a lot of street

We love our new place at St. Clair Lofts! First time living in the city and love the open spacious style of the loft, the excellent location to walking to everything that Dayton day and night has to offer. The courtyard is beautiful, filled with plants and flowers, very nice patio furniture, perfect place to chill & grill out , relax , enjoy meeting your neighbors. The community room is decorated so nicely and the perfect place to hold a gathering. I love that they offer storage units, which is perfect to store your winter clothing and holiday decor. Moving into St. Clair Lofts has been a great experience! One of the best places to live in Dayton. Excellent location, cool apartment layouts, and awesome staff.
