Giorgio's Pizzeria
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as takeout/delivery customers. We look forward to serving you soon in our updated space! Thank you for your continued support by picking up Giorgio's wholesome Italian comfort food or having us deliver it to you. And thanks for your patience through our remodeling.

We look forward to returning refreshed and poised to happily serve you for another 45 years. In the meantime, Giorgio's is still taking all the proper precautionary measures inside the restaurant to ensure that we have a safe environment for our employees. Constant sanitizing and hand cleaning is our motto.
Services
Serving to generations of families our classic thin crust pizzas, calzones, pastas, and salads by our friendly and efficient staff. Many describe Giorgio's as being "just like New York". While always honored that East Coasters are so complimentary, we also enjoy the fact our Wholesome Italian Comfort Food roots go back even further--all the way to the Mediterranean island of Ischia, off the coast of Naples.
But with our efficient, friendly army of kitchen and service staff and flexible dining room, you rarely have to wait long for a table. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between the hours of 5 and 8:30 PM are the dining room's busiest. During these times, we can only seat you when your party is complete.
Since Halloween is our busiest day of the year and we have hundreds of pizza orders, we have decided to create a spooktacular process that will allow you to pre-order for your special ghouly occasion! We will have a manager dedicated to manage this site who will send you an email confirmation within 48 hrs.
All of Giorgio's pizzas are prepared on a New York style crust with a slightly thicker edge & cooked golden brown. Each Giorgio's pizza begins with traditional tomato sauce, mozzarella & topped with a sprinkle of oregano. Giorgio's pizza makers will leave your pizza in the oven a little longer to make it well done & crispy.

Consistently good pizza. San Francisco longtime business
Take out is just as good as dining in. Gets busy on Friday nights.

Georgio's is a longtime favorite of mine. I grew up in the Richmond District. When I lived on 12th Avenue I would often walk down to Giorgio's and pick up a pizza. Yesterday my special Angel Katrina and I picked up our favorite Georgio's special combination Pizza. Best pizza in San Francisco perhaps the Bay Area. We had leftover pizza for breakfast. We can't wait for Georgio's to reopen for dine in. We live in Marin County. Whenever we are in San Francisco on Clemente Street we always stop by Georgios.

Their Large-size dishes are good for 1 person with a hefty appetite.
Otherwise, Giorgio's food is totally flavorless. They don't even use simple salt and pepper in their pasta sauces. The careless kitchen also makes major mistakes and omissions on delivery orders.
Their dine-in service is supposed to resume in spring 2022. Hopefully, the food quality will improve. It was great when we started going there years ago, but there seems to have been a change in management and/or ownership. The indifferent people I speak with at Giorgio's now sound like kids, not restaurant professionals.

This review is based on takeout pizza and not on staff.
We got 2 pizzas, 1 gluten free, the other normal. Toppings are irrelevant, but the pizza is barely edible. I'm not sure what people are talking about how it's so great or when they recommend it for Brooklyn transplants. It's nothing like Brooklyn, it's nothing like Italy, it's American mush. It's also quite expensive. Disappointing on all fronts.

Had delivery at a pizza party. Let me join the chorus of praise. Definitely stands out from much San Francisco pizza! Pesto pizza and cheese pizza had abundant flavor and a crust that surpassed all expectations!

Our favorite pizza place in SF. Style reminds us of our favorites from Brooklyn, highly recommended for post NYC move needs.

Best by NYC style pizza in the area. It's been around for ages and have a loyal following in the Richmond and surrounding area. They have some other Italian dishes like lasagna, pastas etc. that are solid (probably not comparable to the full Italian restaurants but it's a pizza joint not a fine dining restaurant).

I've only ordered from this place through Doordash and have picked up. I have yet to eat here.

What we have ordered:

GIORGIO'S SPECIAL - pepperoni, salami, mushroom, sausage= This was pretty good and I'd definitely get it again.

EVERYTHING - mushrooms, pepperoni, salami, bellpepper, sausage, and olives = I added pepperoni to this and it was perfection!

PICO DE HAWAII - ham, pineapple, jalapenos, and chili flakes = I love anything spicy so this is a hell yes for me!

When we went to pick up the people at the restaurant were nice. They provided us with red pepper flakes and cheese

This cinema house is the best place to enjoy some of your favorite movies. The seats are very comfortable, and the snacks are really tasty. This place is really the best if you are planning to have a relaxing weekend with your loved ones. I will surely recommend this cinema house for everyone! Truly amazing!

This is my favorite thin crust pie shop in San Francisco. The sauce is very flavorful and the thin crust has just the right chewiness. This combination creates a flavor explosion in the mouth. The clams with red sauce, mushrooms and onions, and pesto with red sauce are my go to pies.

The only downside is that they are takeout only until the fall due to remodeling of their interior. They have that neighborhood family fun vibe.

I've been to Giorgio's many times and they make a good thin crust pizza. They can be a little skimpy on the toppings sometimes, but the crust and tomato sauce are good. Besides the pizzas, I also really like the fusilli pasta with chicken, sun-dried tomato, mushroom, basil.

I want to Thank The Team at Georgios for great service and great pizza. My Brother proposed yesterday at Baker Beach and wanted Pizza for afterwards. Georgio came through for us and delivered the pizza to the corner of Pershing and Lincoln because we didn't have an address. The pizzas were so popular, we had to order a second round. The second time the delivery driver even drove to the side of the road where we were at so I didn't have walk up and down the hill. Thank You!!!
Great People and Pizzas!

Their pizza is very good, one of my top 2 pizzas in San Fran. In northern California, actually. Their pizza has a thin crunchy crust, with a light sauce.
They have some of the best sausage around.
Our go to is Sausage, yellow onion & mushroom pizza here.
Only gripe I have is last week, we went to the pick up window in front 3 times, not ready, we were parked right in front of the window. When our pizza was ready, not even a head nod. They put it in the insulation bag. They had no other customers outside, they were just standing there & could not even give us a nod when it was ready.

A go-to pizza spot for my family whenever we come to the city! My dad was born and raised in SF so he has loved Giorgio's pizza since he was a little kid! 50+ years later and we are still coming back here every chance we get!

This is just about as classic as you can get. With the red checker table cloths, old fashion booths, and string lights + grapes hanging from the ceiling. This gem is located near Laurel Heights and is a must for any pizza lover. Our classic order is a the sausage, bell-pepper, and fresh garlic on thin crust. Yum!! Even writing this review is making me crave a slice

This place was my favorite pizza. Been here for years serving the community and spreading their fine food and good cheer. Place is always busy with the locals and a popular spot for the younger kids as well. Love that they do a different thickness of crust to order!

Providing our kids with a little bowl of raw pizza dough was an awesome, tactile activity to occupy them while we looked at the menu! Plus, the staff were attentive to our needs while not hovering...finally, the pizza was delicious!!!

Nice place, clean, charming. Price is good. No parking. Two things made me not want to give five stars: 1. pizza is good, but there were too little pepperoni on it; 2. the knives don’t cut.

Absolutely delicious, kiddos loved it and wonderful customer service! Mason is so friendly. And one of my littles, also named Mason, got a kick out of having the same name as him. We’ll definitely recommend. 😊 Oh and the kids say: “good lemonade!”

Wow i was surprised! We went there only because it was close by and we didn’t have anymore time however it was pretty much full but luckily we were able to sit down.
I didn’t have much expectations as it looked a little like a glorified franchise pizza place, but I was wrong.
I got the fussili pasta with a rosa sauce and it was prepared pretty much like what I would do at home served “al dente” and the sauce was perfect! My daughter ordered pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It wasn’t quite like a pizza you might have in Italy or in the south Switzerland but it

Friendly service, good selection of wines, and ok pizza. I'm extra picky with my thin crust pizza because the city is full of incredible options, and I would choose pretty much all of them over Giorgio's. The only advantage here is the lack of a crowd and the price, but when you have places like Tony's, Montesacro Pinseria, Ragazza, Pizzeria Delfina, Arizmendi, Zero Zero, and Little Star to choose from, it ends up being not much of a contest. I'd recommend coming here only if you're in the neighborhood with a serious pizza craving.
