The management company are sharks. I stayed at this location for 12 months on a 14 month lease never late. I had to move out before the 14 month was over. Gave the rental company plenty of notice they were able to move someone in a couple of weeks after I left. I was advised this would be the best option to move out soon as possible vs waiting until my lease was up. Once I moved out I was billed for two months' rent even though Someone moved in a couple of weeks after I left. It was less than two months on the lease I paid for twelve months. I don’t recommend this apartment. I just moved in within a week. The bathtub drain has been nearly clogged since the day I moved in. The water pressure in the apartment is very low. My service request for maintenance is being ignored and the manager is not responding to my email about the request. Also, the toilet was dirty and the bedroom door had cracks when I moved in. This is what they advertise as “luxury living from every angle”. In addition to that, my upstair neighbors stomped everywhere in the home which sounds like an elephant wearing concrete shoes and other neighbors play loud

We have just moved into Capital Place at Soithwood. So far, we love it! If the friendly & helpful service we were giving during the application, lease signing, and move in process are any indication, we will be very happy here! Everyone went above and beyond to make our transition seamless. We really like the apartment and the amenities and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! My favorite part is the fitness center! It is far beyond the gyms I've seen in most apartment communities!

This place deserves 10 stars. I LOVE this apartment complex, management, location, and other residents! I have nothing but good experiences to share! After living in a few other apartment complexes throughout college, I am very impressed with Capital Place! It is clean, quiet, SAFE, and pet friendly! The office staff is very nice- they know my name and my dog's name! The pool and other amenities are wonderful, and Southwood in general is one of the nicest places to live in Tallahassee. When I was looking for an apartment to live in after graduation, only one word was top of my list: SAFE. I feel

I lived here for four years. The staff are friendly (Paige is the BEST). The maintenance staff (Keith, who has been there a while, is super nice) are also wonderful and very responsive. The facilities are nice and the property is clean, quiet and beautiful. This has hands-down the best gym of any property in Tallahassee, a gorgeous saltwater pool, wonderful walking trails, a dog park, nice outdoor TV area with a fire pit, and a car wash/detailing area. I love it here. The staff is extremely accommodating and the leasing agents always brighten my day when I stop in the front office. Where else in Tallahassee can you find acres of fields and lakes to take your dogs to less than 50 yards from your front door? Very happy with this apartment, nice utilities and very updated. Convenient garage access and there's always parking.
