Compassion is something you can develop with practice. It involves two things: intention and action. Intention simply means you remember to open your heart to others; you expand what and who matters, from yourself to other people. Action is simply the 'what you do about it.' I'm a Boston College graduate with a B.A. in Communications and have worked many jobs in marketing and television broadcasting.
We have so many incredible yogis that are part of our One Powered family/community, that we just have to tell you about some of them. It's time to meet some of the superstars that make our community so awesome! A college track and cross country friend from the University of Southern Maine introduced me to Bikram yoga in 2005.
We recommend signing in about 10 minutes before class; this will allow you to set up your space and make sure you have a good connection. Always allow for some technology glitches. They are bound to happen, but if you are a bit early, it's easier to trouble shoot and that way you can be ready for the start of class.
These are heated vinyasa flow yoga classes that welcome all levels of practitioners. Classes are heated between 80-85 degrees. Vinyasa yoga is a vigorous series of postures that link breath with movement. The series of postures called a flow helps to open and cleanse your body as well as strengthen and lengthen your muscles.

After bouncing around from studio to studio, I landed at One Powered Yoga and it's 1000% my favorite. While I can't attend as regularly as I'd like, every time I stop in, my stress level plummets and the instructors and other attendees are kind and welcoming. Each instructor takes time to gently correct postures to ensure a safe and energizing practice. The studio is clean, warm, and inviting. Parking is easy behind the building (where the door to the studio is), and classes are almost always on time. Looking forward to my next visit!

I absolutely love this studio! It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have taken two workshops (Acro Yoga & Party Yoga) with Tony and they were awesome! I was a little hestitant at first to try the Acro as I have never done anything like that before but I am so glad I went! He was so willing to help with the poses/alignment and answered any questions that all of the students had. I look forward to coming back for my classes/workshops!
