This restaurant could be so much better. Talk about a prime location in JC and w so much history!
That said, it’s a fun place to go for drinks if you’re up for that sort of thing.

Ecco Lounge has been a Jefferson city historic restaurant. Dine in the dining room or bar area seating or the bar with beer and hard liquor and wine. Menu is ample to choose from and always good large servings, we shared this burger that was 12.00. Pleasant staff. Parking is better around back or some street parking available as well.

Wonderful food, great energy, and fantastic atmosphere. No matter where you're from it's definitely worth a stop. Their burgers and reuben sandwich were extremely well made, and the taste was spectacular.

We had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated. Food was good. We had pork tenderloin, burgers and fish and chips. Drinks were good. Service was good. We liked the place and will stop in again.

Just finished one of the best Fish and Chips I have ever had. Fish was wonderfully prepared and the breading on it was perfect. Waffle fries were nice and crispy. Overall great meal and good service.

We are from out of town. Our "in town" friends brought us here. The service for the Thursday lunch we went to was slow...(an hour wait), but we did not mind as we were enjoying the company of our friends and when the food came, the portions were large and delicious! Our friends said that it was unusual for the service to be slow, and we did not ask why. We really did not mind. I was surprised they did not have creamer for coffee...not sure it was even on the menu as I asked for coffee without thinking to look when asked, but they were very accommodating as they brought coffee in a large mug and

The menu is ample making a selection difficult. The service was excellent and our food was served promptly. Highly recommend the waffle fries. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was welcoming and decor historic and charming.

This place is just what the Doctor ordered. The food is great. The beverages are cold and the atmosphere is just like the bars my grandfather took me to as a kid. It CANNOT be beat in JC. if you don't go here you done missed out!

The BEST Prime Rib in Jeff City! But I may be a little prejudiced, I worked there from 1985 till 1993, when they 1st started serving the Prime Rib.

Definitely one of my favorites also it's a block from my house! Lol. They have a wide variety off meals poked the way you like it, a friendly staff and reasonable prices!!! If you like salmon try the salmon salad between there style of salad and fresh salmon it's hard to beat!!!

This place has good ambiance, good food, and good beer. The waitress was okay but she could do better. That's about the only thing or that I did not appreciate. Other than that food beer Ambiance is great I recommend it and I will definitely go back again.

Great burgers and the fries are to die for! Crowded atmosphere but you won't even think about it when you take your first bite. Would be great to be updated but understand the history of this place as well.

Small place, great food! Several things are homemade, not just frozen off a truck. Service was quick and friendly. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was very good! Definitely go for the waffle fries. If we are ever back in the area, we will return!

The place was packed; which speaks for itself! My sister got the 22.00 ribeye and it was delicious. I'm from Northern Illinois so I wasn't expecting what I am used to. This monster was huge and cooked to perfection! The service was ok. The girls seemed to be somewhat overwhelmed. Maybe they were short staffed. My hubby had the shrimp and liked it. My bro had the ahi tuna and again, it was cooked to perfection.

Very nice environment. Friendly staff and good beers on tap. I was not very thrilled with my food though. Potatoes were overcooked and my chicken was bland, but maybe I was there on a bad night. Presentation was also great.

Don't come to Ecco if you are looking for a low-carb, keto, veggie centric meal. Come to Ecco is you want the best fried food you can find in Jefferson City. Ecco is home to the best onion rings in cole county so give them a try. They come in a large portion so plan on sharing with someone. Not into onion rings? Check out the fried mushrooms. Don't let the decor fool you, this place is good. The Ecco Burger is juicy, crisp & the perfect amount of bleu cheese. The Ecco Club is thick sliced turkey, melted cheese, apple slices & Swiss...basically heaven on grilled bread. The onion rings are impossible to finish...what I'm saying here is bring your appetite!

The food was good, they have excellent onion rings. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich it was very yummy. Our service wasn't the best. Our waitress seemed more interested in what everyone at the bar was doing. Otherwise it was good.

Let me start off by saying the food is decent. I've had it to go with my coworker's and it was always good. But today was the first time I ate in and I am beyond disappointed with the service. My friend and I were sat at a booth in the bar. Shortly after being sat we were provided a menu and our drinks. We sat for approximately 20 minutes before the bartender took our order. And as we were placing the order she stopped listening to speak to the booth behind us. She then took our order and walked away. Back in teh day THE 1970s this place was a Midwest classic. Atmoshere wise it was straight out of WALKING TALL. 'Nuf said.
The menu was fried seafood. PICKLES was the barman. PICKLES knew much. Some - we among them - thought PICKLES held the answers to questions untold.

Years pass

I teturn to JC ( home of DONALD GOINES!) and am ecstatic to say the place has kept it real, considered themselves and then just took it to a W-H-O-L-E N-O-T-A-H-L-E-V-L.
