My favorite sushi spot in Columbia! We found the place recently and have already gone multiple times. The fish is fresh, and the rolls we've tried have been good portion sizes and so tasty. Service has been good as well. The ambiance is very trendy, modern.
- White tiger roll (5/5): my favorite! Love the crunch, the textures, everything about this roll is perfect. So good
- Geisha roll (4.5/5): also really yummy, the toppings and trio sauce make the roll
- Yummy roll (4/5): this one is more basic but still delicious, Love the crunch
- Shawn roll (2.5/5): honestly not a fan of the sweet chili

First time going here, went right before Christmas! So glad we did, it's a little out of the way but was well worth the extra drive. I live 40 minutes away in Jeff City area. It wasn't busy when we got there at about 7 pm, so we were seated right away. There is not a lot of seating but it is a nice place.
We started with edamame which is pretty standard at sushi places, this edamame had a good amount of salt on it and I would get it again. We both decided to do KBBQ because that was the draw for us over another sushi place. My husband got the pork belly and I got the galbi(short ribs

I love their sushi, but also love their hot stones grill options! I took my two nephews (5 & 6) who became obsessed with sushi lately, and I had zero regrets. the staff was VERY nice to them and patient. The wait was longer than expected, but I understand with covid, and take out, it can be hard. Overall great experience the last 4 times i've been. it's become my bf and I'd go to spot for sushi night (unless we're cheating on them with their sister restaurant Geisha)

This was my first visit and it's safe to say I will definitely be a return customer. The food was amazing! I had the Korean BBQ chicken as my entree, I'll looking forward to trying the other BBQ dishes that are offered. There isn't anything bad I can say about this restaurant. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

If you are wanting sushi, I have yet to have a roll I didn’t love. You really cannot go wrong. Tiger roll or anything spicy has been my personal go to.
They have a wide selection of drinks. Ask your server about the drink that comes in a pineapple (I believe it’s the hurricane). It’s probably one of their best house drinks and comes with enough liquor to keep you happy the rest of the night

This is our go to sushi place in town. It's impossible to find raw fish in Columbia, and I am sushi and grill has some options.
We've only gotten takeout, but every time the food is packaged perfectly. Great portions, includes plenty of utensils and condiments.
We only get sushi rolls here, and love how the food travels well and is still presentable. Would recommend!

One of my favorite sushi spots! The (8) rolls are so big that I always struggle to finish my food, whereas with other places I normally I leave semi full. I'm also obsessed with edamame, and they give you a heaping serving thats salted to perfection.
I would like to point out that I go for the vegetarian rolls, but they have quite a few options to choose from so I don't feel like I have to constantly order the same two things.
The presentation gives a nice, aesthetically pleasing touch to top it off. 10/10 from me :)

The best Korean-Japanese fusion in town! I've been coming here since the day they opened and let me tell you, it is extremely rare to find a restaurant at this caliber that is consistent and is continuously getting better and better! You are not here to dine, you are here for the experience! Your taste buds, your senses, your eyes will be delighted by anything and everything that you pick from the menu. I did a carry out order of tempura shrimp roll. It was just amazing. This is my first time here and definitely this is going to be my go to place. Update: well I wasn’t wrong when I said this is my go to place.. i have been here several times and this place is a gem in Columbia. Best sushi amd amazing korean BBQ.

Went there on our way back from KC to STL, with my mom and the kids.
The wagyu steak on the hot stone grill was absolutely THE BEST steak experience I have had in years. Even better than Shula's, and that's saying A LOT (as I love how they do steak). Delicious!
Presentation of all our dishes was a 10, in an appealing setting, and the staff were kind and attentive.
Definitely not what you'd stereotypically expect in the middle of the Show-Me State, but a real find! (Also recommend the Grind Coffeehouse right next door.)
