Beks has been a staple of American dining in downtown Fulton since opening in 2005. What started as a coffee and wine bar quickly turned into a full-service restaurant, and we're proud to say we still have members of our original staff working for us today. From Jefferson City, Chef Daniel Proctor is Missouri born-and-bred.
He's been part of the Beks tradition since 2010, but his passion for creating home-cooked meals dates back to his early childhood. From helping his grandparents serve 10 course meals to working with his aunt in a kitchen in a nursing home, Danny has found joy in making meals that enrich the lives of those around him.

When my family used to live in Fulton we would come here all the time. I still come in sometimes for my lunch break and grab some food and they never disappoint! Their Parmesan Artichoke Dip is TO DIE FOR. I'm also obsessed with their Teriyaki Salmon Salad (would highly recommend getting the avocado lime dressing with it). They even have a wide range of desserts, and the ones my family and I have tried have always been delicious. Love Beks!

We went for after our wedding dinner, spent $91 plus the tip the waiter we had was extremely nice got us everything we needed while juggling multiple other tables but the sweet potato fries is all I could recommend my steak was cooked two different temperatures neither side being the same mashed potatoes were bland and almost like paste steak had no seasoning in the veal my husband got as well was just very bland and chewy. Beautiful building amazing people the food needs some help definitely not worth the price.

Absolutely a great spot for dinner and drinks. I highly recommend the jalepeno poppers because they are amazing. They usually have a nice selection of drafts and other great bottled beers. The owner and management of Beks are doing an excellent job of training their staff now to satisfy the customers and have you leaving satisfied. You won't be disappointed by giving Beks a try.

Had a lunch here with colleagues. Ribeye sandwich was good sized and nice taste. Tender enough to bite off easily. I opted for sweet potato fries and they were a healthy portion and good taste. Many good options on the menu so I look forward to going back for more. Looks like it would be a good happy hour spot with many beer and wine choices. We also had the bacon wrapped jalapeños and they were not spicy and had great flavor!

In town for the day so I decided to do a quick google search for places to eat in Fulton. Stopped by this place since the ratings seemed so positive. I ordered to-go a black bean burger with sweet potato fries. I specifically asked the hostess what fixings the burger came with, and she told me (lettuce, tomato, pickles on the side). I also mentioned that I didn't want any garlic aioli or horseradish mustard--only ketchup and mustard.
My food was ready to go in about 15 minutes which was very nice. The staff were all pleasant when I entered which is always good. I paid for my order and was

So appreciative of Beks and this rare find in a small charming place I grew up called Fulton. Since moving back home from living in Houston,TX for 30+ years where there was an abundance of esteemed chefs and restaurants around every corner, I can't believe Fulton has this gem in Beks. I had "surf and turf" tonight. Don't usually eat out for dinner during the week, but after a long day and seeing this as a special for only $24...I just had to try it. The beef tenderloin was some of the most tender and flavorful I've ever had and cooked to perfection. The lobster crab cake

Great historic surroundings with a pirate theme, got the special after we ordered but overall well worth a drive to Fulton, was 30 minutes for us but you won't regret it! Staff was very friendly and accomodating to my Celiac wife. Charbroiled burgers and fresh veggies to add to it made this place great. Had the spinach dip, very good spin on a classic!

One of my favorite places to visit when I'm anywhere near mid-Missouri. The artichoke dip with pita bread is the best I have had in my travels. Go for the art dip, but grab a coffee and any of their baked goods - the yellow cake with buttercream frosting is fantastic! If you're in the area, go out of your way to make a stop - you won't be disappointed!

On a whim, we stopped by for an afternoon snack. We had their famous Parmesan appetizer and it was excellent.
I also had the carrot cake and it was wonderful too.
They offer a number of GF items and we will be back for sure.
They have a veggie burger and it looked great, but will have to try next time. Give them a try!

Wonderful meal from beginning to end. We started off with the fried pickle spears and they came with a side of homemade ranch. They were cooked perfectly and had good flavor. My wife had the asiago Alfredo fettucini and I had the Chipotle chicken pasta. Both of them were wonderful and I would venture to say that the Chipotle chicken pasta was the best pasta I've had in a long time.

I wanted to go to Beks for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing, and presentation was remarkable! In short we both had one of the dinner specials and shared a wonton appetizers. The bacon wrapped filet mignon was tender and Juicy. My boyfriends pork chop was flavorful and smoky. Were from the general area and the drive isn't long for the high quality of the food. I would also recommend the asiago alfredo. Good for casual or super romantic date!

We stopped in here on our way to Illinois. It's in the middle of a town straight out of Norman Rockwell's world. Brick streets and buildings dated 1884.
The food was great. I ordered the steak salad which had a 4oz fillet and it was cooked a perfect medium-rare. Blue cheese and wonderful tomatoes. Others had burgers and a Tuscan sandwiches. 7 out of our 8 thought it was fantastic. One guy said it was just a burger.
Service was very nice considering it was their lunch hour and we had a large group. Great beer list and a decent wine selection.
Stop by if you're on Highway 54

Ah Bek's...Oh how I have missed you these last 4 years!
First let me say that this was always a "go to" for each and every celebration we had while living in this little area of the Midwest. They were the FIRST establishment that reminded me of home/California and 4 years later they did not disappoint.
First the food...have never been able to find a spinach/artichoke dip that compares to Bek's. Oooey gooey cheesy and just like I remembered. Their portions for the price are on overload. Menu has not changed much since I was last there but why fix something that is not broke
