Services
We show you how to achieve the results you want by increasing you body's metabolism with exercise and healthy eating habits. We also apply simple behavioral modification techniques and positive motivation to enhance your program and ensure your long-term success. Since all workouts are by appointment and supervised, you are held accountable for your training so that you can stay consistent and challenged.
The first thing you notice about PHASE II is its size; our facility is just over 2200 square feet. We are not a mega-gym focused only on signing up as many new customers as possible. We are a small gym facility focused on working one-on-one with our clients. Clients and trainers are working together in pairs, and a friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere is the result.
If you live in Cary, NC, and are looking to get in shape you should check out PHASE II Personal Training. We're more than just a gym, we are instructors who will, not only give you access to the machines you need for your overall health and fitness, but we'll show you what to do with those machines.
There are many different ways to train for improved aerobic endurance. At PHASE II, the duration, frequency and intensity of each type of training varies based on the individual. We will personally work with you 1 on 1 and create a cardio program to match your needs. Each aspect of the cardio training you will receive focuses on slightly different energy systems and skills custom tailored to your needs.
If you've suffered a serious sports injury or are post-surgery, you will want only the best personal trainers and programs to help you recover as safely and as quickly as possible. The injury rehabilitation protocols practiced by PHASE II are a very important part of recovery and should not be overlooked.

I was racially profiled at this gym. I would not recommend it to anyone of color. I initially received a warm greeting via telephone and offered a free hour long trial session. However, when I showed up for my appointment; I was told that I must be at the wrong gym. The owner William acted like he had no idea who I was and as if he had never spoken with me. I clearly wasn’t welcomed in or embraced because I am an African American woman. Please never settle for this kind of treatment and take your money where it will be appreciated.

Highly recommend this place for all your fitness needs. All the trainers are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and there is an atmosphere there that makes you want to work without whining :)
My personal trainer was Michael, who I definitely recommend for creating rigorous fitness workouts, motivating me to push past my limits and helping me stay positive always.

Highly recommend Phase II and especially, Michael Rudolph as a trainer!
Pros:
- Very knowledgeable, helpful and personable trainers
- Facility is adequately equipped
- Good price
- Customers often bring wonderful goodies (e.g., produce, plants) to share
I worked with Michael Rudolph at Phase II (in Cary) for ~2 years to recover from my patellar tendonitis condition on both legs and for overall fitness improvement.
The facility is equipped adequately. Michael is a wonderful person, very knowledgeable, sincere and takes very good care. Eventually, my wife joined too and had a wonderful experience

For the past year I have been participating in a Phase II personal training program designed to help me overcome the many side effects of advanced prostate cancer treatments. These include muscle deterioration caused by Lupron injections, four surgeries and radiation. My trainer - Deborah Richter - has done a first rate job designing and helping me executed a recovery program involving exercise, nutrition and emotional/mental tranquility. Although the training has been interrupted by surgery, Deborah has helped me loose 20 pounds and develop a slim, fit, physical appearance. Assuming my cancer

PHASE II has been an integral part of my life for over 10 years. William Wagner and his team of trainers work hard to create an individual workout based solely on your needs. It is always an interesting, productive and even enjoyable hour! I highly recommend giving PHASE II on Ashville Avenue in Cary a try.

I have gone to Phase II since February of 2013. It started a couple days a week to prepare for a wedding. My high school physique was long gone and my diet was out of whack. I was skeptical of myself from day one that I'd be able to commit and maintain a steady work out routine, but Phase II proved me wrong. William is my trainer and his knowledge in the area and patience is commendable. I love the focused attention of one on one instruction and I see the same other clients each week.
I found myself enjoying the results and the incremental increase in my workout stamina that I switched from going
