Can I give 1000 ⭐️?? Those guys are amazing! My Hyundai has a light engine and the tail light was not working. They took a very honest look and I brought the car the next day. The engine light is done. The tail light they ordered a part, after two days they gave me a call I brought the car back and now it's working perfectly! I went to two different mechanics in SLC they wasted my time and I lose my money. If you guys are looking for an honesty and amazing mechanics I truly recommend Certified Automotive.

While visiting family, I had my car towed there for an engine oil filter issue. They were very professional and took care of my car right away. Replaced the defective part with a new factory filter and refilled the crankcase with new oil since I lost most of my oil on the ground. They checked for engine damage and found no issues other than to recommend replacing the filler plug which they did at no additional charge.

Noise / vibration coming from under vehicle. After diagnostics determined it was bad rear wheel bearing. This problem had been driving me crazy and the mechanic found it and repaired it. Excellent work and friendly. Would definitely recommend their service.

I had an amazing experience with Certified Automotive, I came in for a brake flush and they explained I probably didn't need it but they would do a full inspection for free to be safe. I was waiting for an upsell but was pleasantly surprised when they came back saying my car was in perfect condition and wouldn't need to get the brake fluid flushed for at least another 12k miles. I'll definitely be back next time my vehicle needs any work done, this was the best experience I've ever had with an auto shop.

The folks at Certified Automotive were very friendly! After their inspection, they clearly explained to me their findings and didn’t pressure me into making a decision or talk down to me. In the end I decided to have them replace my AC system, and they completed the work and removed the inspection fee from the final invoice (greatly appreciated!). Now my AC is working like brand new!

Let me start by saying they did not actually do any work on my car so this review isn’t about that. This is strictly about customer service. From the moment I walked in with my van the guy helping me out told me things that were wrong with it and already ordered the parts. I was feeling like he saw me as a way to make money. After the inspection I fully understand there were lots of issues with my van but I felt very belittled in the way these things were communicated. I felt as if because I was a female by myself I was treated worse than if I were someone else. Or maybe that’s how they treat

Pete, Zack, Susan and Jeff are some of the most warm, professional people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Fair prices, thorough work and a great attitude, it doesn't get much better than that.

Stopped in for a safety check. I heard about them from Groupon; did not buy, but they gave me the same deal onsite. They quickly got my car into the garage and took care of me. Got an oil change while I was there; in and out in 30 min. The guys in the shop were very friendly, answered questions, and took care of my service. Though my service was pretty routine, I would feel good about returning if I needed additional services. They found a couple of other things that will need service at some point. THEIR NEGLIGENCE CAUSED MY BRAKES TO FAIL. I recently went to Certified Automotive to have some work done on the suspension of my vehicle (control arm, struts). Their negligence, either through directly damaging the brake line by catching it on the strut during repairs, or failure to adequately inspect the vehicle when I brought it in with damage lead to my brakes cutting out while driving, nearly causing a collision. Certified admitting some guilt offered to replace the damaged brake line at no additional cost to me. I agreed to this compromise. However, they cheaped out and replaced the brake

Be aware - these guys will bad mouth the Audi dealerships in favor of your coming to them but they are no bargain. They lead me to believe they would be less than the dealership but they charged me more than a price quote I received, subsequent to the work being completed, by the Layton dealership. I decided to check their price after my repair thinking I would plan to go to them in the future - learned my lesson - I should have shopped around before going to these guys. I will not go back. I questioned them about the excessive charge - they could have cared less. DONE.
