My wife's car had an serious issue arise in her car the other day that needed immediate fixing. Mike Palmer Automotive was able to take in the car that day and had it ready the next morning.
The reason our review is poor is because of the conversation while picking up the car. We wanted to understand an additional issue that the mechanic noticed during their initial inspection that would require an additional high cost service. I've been coming to Mike's on and off for 8 years, and they have slowly become my go-to in SLC. They are very honest, informative, and trustworthy. I needed my brake lights fixed and just found this place. Mike did not have time to work on my car as I had just did a walk-in, but he was so kind and welcoming and referred me to another place that might be able to help. I appreciated that he didn’t just send me off because I was in a bind having no brake lights.

Was needing some work done on my car. But, just reading some of the reviews has made me think other wise. In a customer service position, isn't the customer always right? Even though they may be wrong you don't argue with them and just treat them with disrespect. Not professional at all! I think I'll keep looking for a friendlier mechanic.

Was taken to the cleaners by these guys! I had a oil pressure sensor replaced and even had my own part. A twenty minute job and a 60 dollar part ended up costing me 400 dollars.... it's sad when businesses like this take advantage of hard working people during a pandemic... I would not recommend them to anyone.

Mike and his team was recommended to me they did an outstanding job on my Jeep my freeze plug had failed I know it's a big job but they got it and got my vehicle back to me as soon as possible I can never Express enough for what they did for me. So glad that I was able to find somebody that I can trust with my vehicles from now on thanks Mike Vanessa and mechanics I am forever grateful!!!
