Hometown Property Management, Inc. provides experienced, professional leasing and property management services to residential property owners and home renters in Thurston County, Washington. Services
If you receive a voucher from the Thurston County Housing Authority, no additional income needed. Other counties and housing assistance programs may have other requirements or regulations. We will contact your housing assistance case manager to verify their requirements.

If a landlord requires that a prospective tenant or current tenant have a certain threshold level of income, any source of income in the form of a rent voucher or subsidy must be subtracted from the total of the monthly rent prior to calculating if the income criteria have been met.Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information.
Pet Information HPM requires the following information about your pet at the time of application: breed, weight, age, and a picture of the pet. If you are able to provide any additional information such as if they are fixed or declawed, this can help expedite the approval of your pets with the homeowner.
It is best to submit a work order through your tenant portal. It gives you the ability to upload pictures, write in detail about any issues, and you will be able to reference your portal for information about when you submitted the work order. You can now download an app called Online Portal by AppFolio on your phone to make it even easier.
This notice is given pursuant to Washington State law for the purpose of terminating my tenancy on the last day of the month indicated. If the term of the lease is not fulfilled, I(we) understand that a Termination Fee may apply per the lease. Please be aware that HPM will be re-listing the property for rent and will need to show the home to prospective renters on occasion.
You will always make the choice of what pet(s) you will allow in your home. When we receive an applicant with pets, we will contact you for approval before running their application. If we do not receive a response from you within 24 hours, HPM will decide based on your stated preferences. A majority of Hometown's current renters' own pets.

We have been working with Hometown Property Management for several years now, they have looked out for our home while we have lived in another state due to work. The company has always been very communicative with us and let us know what the tenants needs or concerns have been. Jordan Nitz has always been professional and gracious with us when discussing property management or issues to attend with the home. We had a wonderful experience with Hometown. Before we had them rent our home for us, we were renters under them for two years. When we found out we were under orders, only a year and a half after owning our own home, we were so nervous with what we would do with our home. I called and spoke with our previous manager at hometown about the process, and Sue and Donna had taken such great care of us from the Olympia office, that I knew I could trust them with this. While I understand hometown is simply a management group and they don’t have the final say on repairs or condition of a home, you’d expect them to at least have some sort of criteria for who they do business with and not manage property’s for slumlords who refuse to do repairs on a home and rent a home that is barely considered habitable.
That was mine and my wife’s experience with hometown, we rented a home and within a week or two we noticed the ceiling was dripping water around the fireplace. Not only that but there were numerous other things wrong with the home as well (major ant issue

For a property owner, they make it simple and easy. Fees are reasonable and straightforward, and they handle any issues that arise promptly. Communication is excellent - I have not had to wait until he next day to hear back, it’s always been same-day. Every member of the staff I’ve dealt with from sales and compliance to maintenance have been very professional. They seem to take great care of the tenants and respond to their concerns or needs very quickly as well. Highly recommend.

We have only positive things to report about our relationship with Hometown Property. Even before we moved in to the rental property the members of the Hometown team were most helpful, knowable, and honest.
Each year as we have had occasion to interact with Hometown the Hometown staff have been prompt, professional, and always helpful.
Over the years we have experienced a few different property management outfits .
We have never had a property management company that seems to be both the management of the property for the owner, but also goes to great lengths to advocate for the property and

Our overall renting experience with hometown was pretty standard. We had a few maintenance issues in the year we lived in one of their rentals. The issues were taken care of in a timely manner. When we moved out, there was a discrepancy with the security deposit. My husband contacted hometown and spoke with John. Within 24 hours, John was able to resolve the issues we had. He was very understanding of our concerns and was able to address everything promptly. Hometown is a decent management company, but John is a fantastic employee. They are lucky to have a brand ambassador that is so committed
