Had a couple issues with not having hot water when I first moved in last December in a third floor apt. The maintenance is 100% the best. They are helpful and always responsive. They come fix everything in a timely manner and if they are delayed or behind on something all you have to do is call and even if they don't pick up, you can expect a call, text, or email following up within the next couple days to make sure you are taken care of. They are professional, friendly, and always on the ball. Charleton was an incredible leasing agent, Kelly went above and beyond to ensure I had hot water, and

I lived at the Retreat of Shawnee for 2 years and only moved out because I moved to another state. I have moved around quite a bit and the Retreat of Shawnee was by far my best experience! The leasing office answers emails promptly and are very nice, the only time I had to call maintenance they showed up the next day and fixed my problem, my place was newly renovated when I moved in and was the cleanest and nicest apartment I’ve ever moved into (Ive never moved into an apartment I didn’t have to deep clean upon move in), and my personal favorite: the year-round pool! Absolutely loved living

I just have to say something! I have lived here for almost 2yrs and I think it's one of the best places I have lived! Maintenance is prompt and kind and the office staff is very friendly! Kelly is the best at what she does, she listens and helps wherever she is needed! Thanks guys for the Great place to live!!

Update September 20/2021.
I moved here back in February 2019. When I moved I think it was different management/staff. They made it really hard for me to get the apartment, and they wouldn’t get to maintenance requests until 2-3weeks after! They were also a bit rude when you called, and not return calls.
This all started changing (IMPROVING) towards the middle of 2020. I became pregnant and we needed a bigger place. I requested a transfer to a 2 bedroom this was (Sept 2020). the staff made it really easy for us to transfer(even with covid and low staff). The transfer was quick, and They were
