We were residents of this community for 4 years. We ended up buying a house and needed to move out early. The office manager told us if we moved out by a certain date, then we would only have to pay until that date. On our move-out form, the amount we were going to be required to pay as rent was indicated and signed by both my wife and the current office manager. We move out and turned in our keys. About a month later, we get our 'final' statement and they had deducted more rent out of our deposit. A copy of the original move out form was included but at the bottom of the form (in different handwriting
