Unexpected stop but wow. Never expected to find a great winery and a great brewery all in one location.
They have appetizers, pizza or sandwiches.
Great variety of both beer and wine. Definitely on my list to visit again.

The tastings are $1 for the tiniest little pour. Either charge more and give more or make it free. We asked for a beer recommendation and went with the Pilsner. You could tell right away from the smell that something was off. I hope this isn’t what it always tastes like. If so they should bring in someone who knows anything about brewing beer to find out what’s wrong in their process. A large banquet room had plenty of seating but apparently the air conditioning was out or not turned on. It was actually preferable to sit outside in the 90° heat. To top it off they charge a deposit of $3 per

The two bedrooms and common areas were very clean. The window blind in one bathroom was raised 1/2-way up and could not be lowered. The bottom of the jacuzzi was very slippery, needs a rubber mat.
Very good wine and beer selections. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine included in our two-night stay. The young woman that did the wine tasting was very efficient and friendly. The young woman that served us second breakfast was also efficient and friendly. Both breakfasts we ordered bacon and both times were told, sorry the bacon wasn't delivered. The second breakfast's sausage was very fresh

5 stars is not enough!!! Do not go by the old reviews, the new owners obviously brought new life into this place! Everything about this place is amazing! The food, wine, employees, the bed and breakfast ALL of it phenomenal! The manager, Dalice, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! She took the time to answer any questions we have and went out of her way to make sure I had decaf coffee! The entire staff made us feel welcome and like family! The breakfast is huge, burgers and pizza were delicious, everything was just perfect! We are already planning our next stay and hopefully bringing

Great experience and service! Very nice suite! The yard needed mowing and a small table of some sort would be nice to have in the suite. There is plenty of room!! My wife and I loved it, and will make the 4 hr trip back to stay here again!

We went to several wineries last weekend and found this one to be the best. Sam was a highlight! She greeted us warmly and gave excellent recommendations. I believe she is new to working there but has a lot of knowledge in addition to her great demeanor. Highly recommend you spend some time here!

This is probably one of the more popular wineries on the trail, the parking area was packed, and it doesn't disappoint. The wine selection is really solid, anyone could find at least one wine they enjoy. So if you're not really a, "wine person" this is a great place to try a bunch of different wines. Snobbery seems to be checked at the door, no one is going to try to intimidate you with wine knowledge or assume you know anything. But if you have questions, do be prepared for some enthusiastic information.
The outdoor area is spectacular, a great place to relax with a glass and gaze out over the

Wines and beer selection are ok. Food not very good. Had been there for a work function several years ago, but decided to try it again. Tried shrimp street tacos. Shrimp was fried with tail. Only two shrimp per taco. My wife's tacos only had one each. Mentioned to the staff, they agreed it was too few and they did send out four more. Small sides which is normal for wineries but just not very interesting or made well. Wait staff is friendly. Atmosphere is ok. You will enjoy it more if you don't eat.

We stumbled across Von Jakob after doing a few wineries along the trail. We were excited because this place also was a brewery too! WE WISH WE WENT HERE FIRST BECAUSE WE WOULD HAVE STATED ALL DAY!! Angie and Eric were absolutely amazing. The place was so clean. They had an amazing sitting room where the wine and beer counters were. The large banquet hall was so nice and the outside area will be so cool when the weather gets better. Of the 4 stops we made, this place had my favorite wines AND the fresh brewed beer was great. This is a great place for people who want a variety, beer and wine. They

Yes, stop. This place has a fantastic view from the back deck. We bought a bottle of Canyon Gold (excellent, light) and a growler of Southern Illinois Pale Ale (you have to like Pale Ale). Both very refreshing. Lunch was the schnitzel - fantastic, came with sides of slaw and potatoes, 6.99. Well worth the value...in fact, everything we had was at a great price.
We got there early afternoon. The inside fills up quickly - so be prepared to wait in line. The customer service was excellent at the wine tasting bar. We ordered our food, wine, and beer at this bar. Found a place to sit outside, and they
