Services
We believe a property manager should do much more than collect the rent. We are here for you every step of the way to take care of your needs and build strong relationships. We offer wonderful properties at great locations. For your convenience, we provide a resident portal to apply, make payments and request maintenance.
Companion/Emotional Support Animals are typically prescribed by a healthcare professional. Please contact the office for a Reasonable Accommodation Request. Are you moving out at midyear or before the lease end date? You can find a replacement resident as a Sublease (short term 2-3 months) or you can find an Assignment (permanent 3+ months).

This was my first time using a property management company instead of trying to do it myself. It was so easy and much less anxiety!
Highland P M took care of signing up new tenants for next year and was able to increase the rent to be more competitive.
Then, when it came time to sell the rental property, HPM was very helpful in working with the title company.
The renters respect the professionalism and the experience of Cheri, the office manager.
I highly recommend Highland Property Management for a professional and stress-free experience.

They refused to take responsibility for a $780 water bill after neglecting to fix the leaking toilet for 8 months. They also charged us $80 to replace a smoke detector battery. Absolute thieves, Avoid them if possible
Edit: since I can't reply directly to their lies they were notified in October 2019 about the toilet, didn't fix the water leak for a year and a half and then in February 2021 they said "oh by the way you're $700 over your water allowance" and we scoured the house and found that there was some noise coming from the toilet still

I have rented with Highland for the last three years and plan to live in a Highland Property for as long as I am in Pullman. They are absolutely fantastic and all of their pricing is reasonable. They are sure to send out maintenance as soon as they can, sometimes it’s within an hour of me calling. I notice a lot of reviews about them being “crooks” and giving fines, but as long as you abide by your lease YOU WONT BE FINED. They have worked with me on everything from having roommates randomly move out and not being able to afford rent to my emotional support animal paperwork. Cheri and Ann

Hands down WORST people to rent from. I'd give a negative review if I could. Not only do they give out fees left and right like nobodies business without providing any proof of any infraction (because that's how they make there money!) its just there word against yours. They continue to expect all tenets to uphold the lease to a T, all while they continue to slack and fail on their obligations as a leasing company. Got mold or leaks? That sucks for you! House owners, find someone else to manage your properties. Students, lease ANYWHERE else. DO NOT rent here until they are under new and improved

I have recently graduated from WSU and was previously a resident at the same home under Highland Property Management for two years. I never was late on a rent payment, never had any complaints, was a great tenant, and each of my roommates did their part during move out. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I was charged an unbelievable amount post move out for claimed damages I did not do (or any other resident). This company thinks they can take advantage of college students and will dry your pockets clean if you let them. The property manager is not kind and money hungry. After two years of loyal residency

These people are simply awful. To call them crooks would be a disservice to skilled criminals. Ann is just about the most rude and unpleasant person I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Their response time is horrendous. Their illegal practice of charging fees without sufficient proof of lease violations quite frankly borders on criminal. Believe everyone when they say, you can do better. I hope the owners of the complexes read this, and hire a management company that is reputable. Just because something is in your lease doesn't make it a legal policy.

Cheri and Ann are two extremely rude and unprofessional human beings. Not only do they belittle me and make me feel less as a tenant (let alone individual) they continue to make my tenner here in Pullman more difficult. I can't wait to lease elsewhere and not have to deal with this company. Are there any good rental places in town???? Whoever owns Highland please give anger management classes and actual management classes to those poor old withering women. Thanks. Will update to 5 stars when that happens.

I rented an apartment through Highland for about a year and a half, and they were very responsive to questions and accommodating with pets in the pet friendly unit I was in. I even walked my dog down to the office to pay my rent. The maintenance person that worked on my apartment was also very kind and communicative, as well as good about pets being in my apartment. My pets are very important to me, so I was very happy to rent through a company that was respectful of that.
