My boyfriend has large feet so we went to Jay's wide shoes. He was hoping to find something and as soon as we walked in we found a size 15 which was perfect! But they refused to let us try it on and insisted that my boyfriends feet were not wide but just long we would've at least like to try on the shoes but he kicked us out.

The new store in clackamas is very nice. Said to hear Kim retired, but the gentleman who helped was patient and helpful.

Great experience. I went to show mill before and walked out bc the girl there was not helpful and oddly combative. I walked into Jay's and walked out with the perfect pair of shoes that have been great. The salesperson was knowledgeable and also listened to what I was looking for. He was honest about the pros and cons of the shoes I was looking at.

This is the only place I can find shoes that fit my stupidly shaped feet. We drive 80+ miles each way, and it is always worth the trip because they have always had at least a couple choices that will work.
Seriously, who else has an 11.5 6E?

Took my mom here. She has a very hard time finding shoes. They took measurements and she described what she wanted and they knew right what to bring out. She got a great pair of shoes in just a few minutes and they were very knowledgeable and nice there!! Highly recommend. Worth the drive from Hillsboro!!

Today was my first time to shop/buy foot wear. The sales person knew the products well. He introduced new quality brands to me, to which I bought a few! Another important factor regarding the shoes at Jay's; they carry larger sizes and specialize in wide shoes! BIG PEOPLE look no more, they got us covered!!!

This is not an "old lady" store, but a shop that carries quality shoes that allow you to walk pain free and keep your feet and knees happy!

While I'd love to wear super sexy high heeled shoes, my feet require shoes that provide support and allow me to walk without pain from planter fasciitis. That doesn't mean the shoes can't also be attractive!

I've never been in the J's on Sunnyside Road I was glad I went in today. Alan was the man that helped me with my shoe needs and got me out of there with a comfortable pair of slippers and some nice sandals. It was a great experience I suggest it to all

Very rude and unhelpful saleswoman. We have been waiting for about half an hour for her to finish up with the only other customer in the store (who by the way is very filthy, disheveled and smells up the whole store) and once she was done she did not help us with looking for our shoes; only point to one dirty pair of display shoes for us to try on, saying "that is the only ones we have".

Went in the first time to get a new pair of shoes and was pleased to be fitted with a shoe that ACTUALLY fits!
Decided to order up a new pair of running shoes, so that I didn't have to drive into Portland, and was pleased to see free shipping! Two days later, I had the shoes in my hands!

This place has a great selection and very knowledgeable staff. I spent years trying to find a shoe store that understood my feet and none came close until I found Jay's. Every time I go in there, I just tell them the sort of thing that I'm looking for; the saleswoman disappears into the back room, and comes back with just the thing I'm looking for in just my size. It makes shoe shopping a breeze.

Excellent customer service! They actually take the time to measure feet, and suggest specific styles for the best fit. Jay's has gotten 90% of my shoe shopping budget since 1992, because I can count on them for good quality shoes that fit my wide feet.

Smallish but quality selection of shoes at reasonable prices. I'm a one pair of shoes type of guy and hate shoe shopping. I can generally walk into Jays, find a pair of shoes quickly, and walk out. Painless. Super helpful, friendly staff. Join the email list - lots of good coupons.

My wife recently was diagnosed with arthritis by her podiatrists. The doctor suggested that she wear graphite/ metal plates in her shoes to help her feet/ toes from flexing.

The store is located right in the Clackamas Promenade and near the Target. The store has a vary localized mom and pop feel to it. Even so they have a great selection of wide shoes and specialize in this area.

The person that helped us was very friendly and got us exactly the granite soles that my wife needed. There was no pressure to buy and he was very good at explaining what the soles

In 15 minutes, Denny Struck found 2 pair of the most comfortable shoes, one a "sneaker type' walking shoe, and the other a dressier pair.

I have always had an extremely difficult time finding shoes that were wide AND had enough room in the toe box AND didn't make my feet look like clown feet.

They totally get it.

I wandered over to Jays Wide Shoes after visiting with my foot doctor. I wasn't really in the mood to BUY shoes, but wanted to get properly sized after getting my bunions poked and proded by the doc. I appreciated that the staff at Jays Wide Shoes didn't pressure me to buy, but they helped me out nonetheless with finding the proper fit for my funky-shaped feet.

Once sized, I went online to do some price comparisons... Some were competitive with Jays, while others were cheaper. But at least I felt comfortable in knowing I was looking for the right size!

I went to the other Jay's in Beaverton. The sales staff are really professional. I'm not an easy fit because I have diabetes. They have a specialist who fit me with orthodics that I can insert in my shoes. After they were made, they encouraged me to come back and buy shoes when I had my new orthodics verses the day that I ordered the inserts custom made for me. When the orthodics were ready, I went back to the store and then the staff really showed me how experienced they were. I actually had a lady sales person and she knew her business. She helped me select two pairs of shoes
