Acme is the place I've been hoping to find all these years. I have brought three of my vehicles here. And will bring any more I ever get and recommend everyone else to also. They are a great group of guys to talk with and to let work on your vehicles. This is the type of shop you rarely hear about. I have nothing but great things to say about them. These guys did repairs on my car and really came through! I missed putting in work for many years, and when I finally did they were able to help me out. They thought I might have one problem that was supposed to be fix, only it was that one problem. They we able to fix it and didn't jack up the price just cause they could. This is a shop I highly recommend!

Acme is amazing!
My van had a tricky electrical problem that other shops had not been able to diagnose and resolve, these guys had it figured out and fixed in no time! Based on that success I had them test and recharge my air conditioning which had not worked well in years. Whatever they did worked because two months later it is still blowing frosty cold! Had them fix a few other smaller issues like a door that wouldn't lock with the key fob, mission accomplished... My 10+ year old minivan is now in tip-top condition thanks to Acme.

My Dodge was acting hinky, and after my mechanic was not able to diagnose what was going on, I brought my ride to Acme Auto Electric and Repair.

I can’t say enough about my experiences at this auto shop. I’ve had the pleasure over several needed visits from simple to complex repairs done here. All the staff and mechanics are friendly and honest when it come to repairs. I’ve never felt overcharged for the work and have never had something fail after repaired. Had a complete removal of a Jeep Heater core and filters Removed and replaced to fantastic results. To those that know the process it’s a 24 hr+ repair! Most$$$ is labor intense. I was Totally pleased with the results. You do have to leave your vehicle generally for a day, but

I have an older car whose electric windows finally stopped working. A local mechanic who couldn't figure it out what was wrong told me to come here, speaking highly of their expertise and service. Sure enough, they figured out what was wrong and instead of trying to persuade me to spend the money to fix it, let me know they agreed and supported my decision to not put any more money into this car. They had even taken photos of the ruined wires to show it to me and thoroughly explain the problem! They did all of this in just a few hours instead of a longer wait time, and, because they diagnosed

THIS GUYS ARE THE BEST!...I had terrible trouble getting my car started and brought it to another automotive place that told me it was the alternator and sold me a new one!..STILL didn't start....then they said it was an clutch switch and got a new one..that didn't work..then they said it was a relay and THAT wasn't it!..I BROUGHT it to ACME and straight off the bat ..they knew it was something entirely different and FIXED it right away!...So smart about cars and I could KICK myself I did not GO TO THEM FIRST!!...NOW I KNOW!...I am going to recommend them to anyone who has ANY CAR

ACME is the best! I have been taking my vehicles to Acme for over 25 years. They are honest, straightforward and don't try to up-sell you on services you don't need! I have taken my collector cars to them also and they treat them with the respect, park them inside (very important to classic car owners!) and did not gouge or overprice. Would use them again and again. Absolutely trustworthy and their expertise with regard to electrical issues is second to none. I've experienced better. Here is what they got right: They called me back promptly with updates, and they were able to return the car quickly.
Here is what I'm not excited about: Passenger side mirror was jammed, I asked that they fix that. Well, they did fix it but not 100%. Its mostly fixed but twitches when pushed back, (and that's not normal).
They charged me full rate for the service and omitted the fact that they weren't able to fix 100%.
I would have been fine if they had been upfront about the fact immediately, that some twitching and jerking will be there and

Super honest guys. I came here because my van AC didn't work. Didn't work when I bought the van and I never knew what the problem was.
I stopped by unannounced and they took a look under the hood. They put coolant in the system but it had a leak, so they drained the coolant back and gave me an estimate now that they knew what the problem was. They were supposed to be charge me for this service but ended up doing it for free.
I scheduled an appointment a couple weeks later and now my AC works! And the price I paid was at the bottom end of the estimate they gave me a couple weeks

It's hot right now and everybody wants their air conditioner fixed. I called and he gave me an estimate of $100-150 to fix it as long as nobody else has worked on it. I made an appointment and he told me he would evaluate and do the repair within an hour, while I waited. I showed up and it was clearly a place whose services were in demand. The counter in the service department was covered with service tickets. The senior family member came in to ask what to say to someone on the line. Great experience! I was referred to Acme by a friend. My vehicle's locks were not working correctly. I took it in the morning last Thursday. They checked it out, found the problem. The parts had to be ordered & would take about a week, which I was ok with. I could have paid extra & got the parts sooner but I decided to wait. They called me, I brought it in this morning 830 it was ready by 1030. Labor was what was estimated & one of the parts they didn't have to use so they took that amount off of my bill.
