They scam you on the move-out by charging you a “cleaning fee”. My husband and I left the apartment spotless and even took a video as we moved out showing how clean everything was. Then a month later got a letter detailing our charges for cleaning! Several hundred!!! So we didn’t get our full deposit back. Also, be aware these apartments are VERY dated like early 90’s. You can definitely find something in better condition nearby that won’t charge you insane cleaning fees upon move-out. Lived here for three months in an upgraded unit. Moving in and living there were fine but watch out when you leave. We left our unit in excellent condition (neighbors wanted to move in as is)!
But a month after moving out they sent us a bill for $100 for “Easy Clean” of carpet, $200 for “Easy Clean” of apartment and $100 for touch up paint. Threatened to turn us into collections if we didn’t pay. They are trying to charge you for their routine cleaning between tenants! State says you can’t do that.
Talked to employee Anna who agreed charges were excessive and would get removed. Then

Units are spacious with garages & ample storage. High ceilings, fireplace & nice kitchens. Great location with good access to main roads, shopping and in walking distance to many local parks. Maintenance is prompt and good (Dustin is awesome!). We are happy overall but have some complaints. There was very poor planning with respect to amenities during the pandemic. Instead of using a sign up system for pools, hot tub, grills & fitness center, they just closed them indefinitely & didn't reduce our rent. People do not clean up after their pets so there should either be a no pet policy or a designated

Been a year we have been staying here! The place is lovely, well kept and clean. Leasing office has taken utmost care in these difficult covid times to do their best in terms of maintaining social distancing, and still providing the necessary maintenance services that we called for a few times. The gyms and pools used to be super clean pre-covid, and our shut now for our good. The gyms can now be used if pre booked, and only 1 person is allowed at a time. I like the way these little things are handled that make a big difference.

I've been living at Lionsgate South for over a year now and it has been a great experience. The property is well cared for and any maintenance requests are quickly resolved. Centrally located near restaurants/shopping and not far from the Rock Creek Trail. I especially love the food trucks that the community arranges each week! Residences are kind/quiet and staff have always been helpful.

I have lived in this community two different times now and I really love it! There are a few downsides-guest parking is very slim, and you only are guaranteed two parking spots per unit, high turnover in management- but the location is wonderful, the floor plans are spacious and offer an abundance of natural light, and I can walk one minute and be at the Streets of Tanasbourne. It may not be ideal if you either have more than two cars, or do a lot of entertaining and have frequent guests, but the maintenance staff is always on top of work orders, and it is overall a great place to live.
