I signed a 7 month lease here at stone creek apartments. Upon moving in to the new place, I noticed that the fridge was leaking really bad. The cabinets had chipped corners in the kitchen. There were even some spots on the carpet flooring that had been ripped up and re patched with a different color carpet for a temporary fix. It didn't look good at all.
Back to the fridge: Upon moving in, I immediately put in a pre- move in work order to have the fridge issue fixed. I received a response from management stating the issue would get handled. I had a maintenance worker come three different times

DO NOT RENT FROM STONE CREEK APARTMENTS.
Within the last three months since I’ve lived in these apartments I’ve dealt with SO MANY inconveniences.
My husband and I are dual military and sadly had to sell our house because we were waiting to PCS. Unfortunately we ended up renting from Stone Creek Apartments (adding to our already stressful situation).
1. The first day we moved in, a closet door was missing and there was a HUGE hole in one of our bedroom doors.
2. Our refrigerator stopped working/ice machine broke and had to be replaced (so did all of our groceries).
3. Our microwave handle
Within the last three months since I’ve lived in these apartments I’ve dealt with SO MANY inconveniences.

Overall it's a good place to live, but I am very concerned that the main entrance gate has not been fixed for more than a year. It also seems like the person to fix the gate is always coming out every week to make attempts but still the gate remains jammed open all throughout the night into the next day. I am concerned because a lot of cars who are not residents of the place come in to the space late at night and cause disruption. I had first hand witnessed people who were not residents park in the parking lot and hot boxing with the smell of weed trailing throughout the area. The other night the

I do not live here and to be honest after today's situation it's exactly why we do not want to live in apartments. We were invited over to swim and hang out with our friends. Another group came on later and everything was ok.. meaning everyone was calm, having a good time and respectful. A couple came over, and clearly the woman was the powerhouse. She went straight to the other group (which happened to be an all black group) telling them they had to leave because they didn't live there. I must say my experience at Stone Creek has been great!..of course I’ve had my issues but of course it’s expected when your dealing with an apartment community..I’ve been here three years and the reason I’m leaving is that I’m moving to another city..The front office is amazing!!..they are very professional!!!..Very generous and very courteous!..The property Manager Mrs Terry is a sweetheart..And the assistant manager Meagan is outstanding as well!..Everyone has there own experience but my experience here was great overall!!

This is the best community if you are active duty and /or retire working on the post. All gates are accessable within 10 to 15 minutes! Drive is great; Area is so much better!!! Location is perfect to get on highway towards Waco and Dallas or drive to Austin!!! The community host lots of events. The gym is renovated and has Sauna!!! This place is perfect for kids and pet safety!!!
