The Barrett

Absolutely LOVE The Barrett. Excellent staff friendly and stellar customer service. Beautiful units clean and brand new (just opened in June 2019), centrally located, close to everything!

The apartments are in a great location and that is where the positives end for me. It seems like the only buildings that are properly maintained are the ones close to the leasing office and pool and we all know that is because that is the area that is shown when people tour the apartments. For so called “luxury apartments”, I’m just expecting more for the money that I’m paying. The mail center is filthy with trash overflowing on a constant basis. While I'm new to the state of Georgia, my stay at the The Barrett seems to be going extremely well. The property appears to be relatively safe and well kept. The office staff have been awesome - emails are answered usually within one business day and request or concerns are handled quickly. So far I would highly recommend The Barrett as a great place to live!!"

AMAZING could not define my experience from beginning to end of moving process. I have been here 2 months now. I worked with Alicia and she was very communicative and fast with her responses. The whole application process was very smooth and straight forward. Fast forward to moving in, it has been great. I remember when I was looking into this property, someone complained about the finishes etc, but it's TOTALLY great. I love the sink, light fixtures, flooring, cabinets, everything! Good place to live. Everyone is friendly. Had some problems with packages at first but have gotten better. I would recommend living here since it’s close to KSU.

I was the fifth physical move in at the Barrett and so i have also seen the changes from the Barrett’s opening until now. The Barrett is the nicest apartment I’ve ever lived in. I’ve never had issues with noise (granted i live on the third floor and didn’t have anybody on my hall until months later 😂) however even now i don’t believe noises have ever been an issue around my apartment. Parking is great and still have no issues finding spots near the building. The office staff is amazing! I was THE FIRST physical move in (second official lease). Therefore, I have witnessed the evolution of this community. Aesthetically it’s nice but the “nice” only extends to the first floor and club level. The decor is gorgeous on the walk from the office to the model but the rest of the hallways are barren. Additionally, the quality of the fixtures do not rise to the cost. The cabinets are flimsy and appliances are GE bottom barrel.

I moved to The Barrett a couple months after they opened. The first management company was helpful when resolving issues. The property is managed by a different company. The property manager Tamelia Turner has no customer service skills and is very unethical. I have had issues with my HVAC unit for months now. The appliances are very bad quality. If any anything stops working good luck getting a new replacement. Their idea of replacing is taking parts from vacant units. The service is not to standards. I do like that the complex is quiet most of time and I have a nice view.

Absolutely would not recommend. Have had issues that a new unit should not have and that I've never had in any of the 6 apartments I've lived in previously. Moreover, management likes to make it seem like the issues are my fault and not theirs smh. Will NOT renew my lease and recommend you continue your apartment search. Gave two stars only because it's beautiful and quiet, otherwise it would've been 1.

I received excellent future resident service from Sevin while visiting the Barrett apartments. From the moment I entered the leasing office, Sevin made me feel welcome and comfortable. He was knowledgeable about all of the apartment features, amenities, locations, and benefits. He asked resident questions to ensure that I would receive the best apartment fit, move in date, and even sent me a few leasing quotes.

Once I'm ready to move, the Barrett is in my top 3 places to live.

The Barrett is the most welcoming community I’ve been a part of! They are friendly and accommodating, and I love all the staff! The grounds are always clean & the building is well secured! LOVE the amenities and events they hold! ❤️

I love living at The Barrett. Not only are the apartments gorgeous, but I appreciate the events each month. The Staff goes above and beyond with hosting fun events to build community. Last night was movie night. Everyone there had so much fun spending time together and getting to know one another. We had pizza, popcorn, candy, hot drinks, and yummy desserts. Thanks to everyone who spent time making it possible.

Best place ever!! I am so glad I found this place, it is so conveniently located near my new work place, traffic is definitely not bad, I have a nice view from my apartment, get to see sunsets, and city's excitement with police cars sirening early in the morning or helicopters buzzing by, or just being peaceful passing by. Some neighbors are sweet and stay to themselves. Apartments have a gym, swimming pool, dog park, valet trash, a leasing office with super sweet admins such as Ms. Rebecca, Robert, Zach and Sven, who are always there to help with my constant queries.
