Getting started is as easy as filling out our PROGRAM APPLICATION. Because we specialize in custom-written programs, we want to get to know you, your goals, and your story. After we get your program application we will contact you to schedule a complimentary, no-obligation strategy session. We will be talking about your background, your goals, and the best way for us to help you accomplish them.
Small Group PT: Custom Written Small Group Personal Training Programs are what we specialize in at On Target Fitness. No one does it quite like us! 12 Week increments of custom programming written just for you. This programming is goal oriented, with full body scans at the beginning and end to track results.
We can't be the cheapest and the best. At On Target Fitness, we would rather be the best. With our integrated, whole lifestyle support and personal training memberships as affordable as $29 per session, we still pack a ton of value into what we do for you. That said, we will never be the cheapest. We pay our staff fairly, we act with integrity, and we support you in and out of the gym relentlessly to make sure you stay on track.
Before I came to On Target Fitness, I was fairly sedentary. I was in a weight loss program and had been successful but felt I would never reach my weight loss goal until I started exercising more. I searched for the right place for me. I was 71 and had previous knee and hip replacements and my balance wasn't great.
We are driven by our mission to change lives through fitness. We do this by relentlessly pursuing what WORKS. This sounds really basic but unfortunately much of the fitness industry gets this wrong. The average person is let down by an industry that too often employs dishonest marketing and pressure sales tactics.

The real deal!!
I can't say enough good things about On Target Fitness. You name it, I've tried it: the fads, the fancy diets, the gimmicks etc.. All leaving me with nothing but disappointment and a hole in my wallet. I have been with them since they opened back up in June after the shutdown, and I am loving the results and the progress I am seeing after only two months. Needless to say, I'm hooked! The staff and coaches are awesome and they know their stuff!! They are always there to help. I recommend anyone and everyone, no matter what kind of shape you're in or what you're looking for to come

After years of going to other gyms and working out at home one January I was scrolling through Facebook and saw an add for On Target Fitness six week challenge. I read the description of the challenge and also researched the gym. I’m going to be honest I wanted to do it but felt intimidated. I was out of shape and was worried about “ being judged”. I decided to take the plunge. My first day I was SOOO nervous and anxious. I had numerous pep talks with myself and said you can do this. I’m not going to lie the first month was hard for me. This is my gym! I have been a member for a year and love the people, the culture, the facility and the philosophy here. If you are looking for a room full of machines in front of tv screens, this is NOT the place. I never imagined a year ago that I would have so much success and make so many positive changes...it worked for me because they worked with me, always challenging me and getting me to a better place. Five Stars!!

When I first visited OTF, Alec & Ryan were absolutely amazing. They were extremely courteous and they seemed to be truly excited for me in regards to getting back in shape and reaching my fitness goals. I don’t think I could have achieved the same results as I did at any other gym. Even though I haven't lost much weight, I gained muscle, lost body fat and in the best shape it’s ever been in a long time. Being accountable for the training sessions I sign up for is key for me. I’ve always been a self-starter, but sticking with something long-term is not one of my strong points because I get

The instructors are great at On Target and the workouts reflect their knowledge and experience. The equipment is suitable for beginner and experienced athletes, and we are able to modify our individual workouts as needed to account for added or reduced intensity based on how we feel on a particular day. Aside from the Bootcamp workouts, members can drop in at scheduled times for Open Gym sessions, or participate in small group training for added focus by the instructor. Highly recommended - probably the best gym on the seacoast.

The team at On Target fitness is AMAZING. I've had the opportunity to be both a member and someone who gets to work with their awesome clients. I've only been going to On Target Fitness for a couple weeks now and must say it has been a great experience! There is an excellent variety of classes with offerings for morning lunch and evening time workouts. All of the instructors have been excellent and both knowledge and personality which makes working out that much better. In the two weeks that I've been going I've already lost 7 pounds. Getting to the gym has become the first thing I think about in the morning not because I have to but because I want to.

Alec and the team at On Target Fitness are welcoming and personable. I've been to many group fitness focused gyms and this is one has something special. The facilities are top notch with everything from TRX to obstacle course work. On a personal note my schedule can get hectic so I really appreciate when classes start on time, get right into it and end on time. Alec and his team bring that level of professionalism to the work out.

On Target is an awesome space, located close to down town Portsmouth I can't say enough about the quality of the equipment, space and trainers. Alec puts together challenging and FUN workouts that start and end on time. I've been active my entire life and the work outs at On Target always leave me feeling like a got a full body and functional work out. The TRX system is a good way to work my core and the gym has a long floorplan so it's great to sprints or plyometric work. If you looking for a work out that won't get boring and one that will challenge you just the right

I have been going to both boot camp and TRX classes now for a couple of weeks and I love it! The classes are challenging and you will definitely sweat hard, but I always feel I'm getting so much more out of my hour working out here than I would be bored at the gym. Alec changes up the workouts constantly and is a really encouraging coach. These classes are for all fitness levels (I was really nervous walking in at first) but Alec is great about adjusting exercises depending on where I'm more or less proficient so that I can get the most out of the workout. I felt really out of shape
