During the arrangements process we will obtain information needed for certified copies of the death certificate and order them for you. We can assist in writing and placing an obituary in the newspaper, our website, and our Facebook page. Absolutely, we encourage everyone to pre-plan/pre-pay their services to help their families with the grief and sorrow when the time comes.
Not only is this unethical, but immoral and illegal as well. We take great care with our procedures to ensure that your loved one is always able to be identified during any step of the cremation process.
Our crematory technicians will re-check the state permit, county permit, family authorization, and special instructions, right before cremation begins to ensure all the information is correct and we are cleared to proceed with the cremation process.Each individual brought into our care is logged in, given an ID band, and assigned a number and a stainless steel disc with that number imprinted on it.

Brian at Fox River Cremation Society was very helpful and went over and beyond to help us maneuver through this very difficult time of the death of my father. He took the much needed time to explain details, offer suggestions, and give us comfort with a personal touch. He was very accommodating with our last minute appointment.

In the days after my mother's passing, there were many difficult calls to make, not to mention navigating through financial decisions, and planning a funeral service. I am grateful that my friend recommended Fox River.

Please do yourself (& your wallet) a favor & entrust your loved one with the professionals at Fox River Cremation Society. The service here is very low key & much more personal than what I've experienced at funeral homes. Cremation is done on site & they will allow you to be present for the beginning of the service if you wish.

Anthony at the Fox River Cremation Society was so caring and wonderful person. I had just lost a sister to compilations to lupus. They day we went to make all the final arrangements. Anthony wore a purple and black tie ( which is lupus colors) out of respect for my sister and our family. I would highly recommend Fox River Cremation. They are outstanding people
