I love everything about my apartment. Maintenance responds quickly. The few interactions I’ve had with the office have been good. The only downfall is parking. Management does not monitor who parks where. When I moved In I was told that there is strict permit parking and the first four floors are to have permits or will be towed but they do not stick to this. So many RESIDENTS have to park in visitors because the first four floors are always filled with cars with no permits. If that rule was actually enforced, it would be the perfect apartment.

I would not recommend this place!! There are better apartments in the area. 1. These people do not pick up the phone. If you don't believe me- try giving them a call. They will not pick up. One day I went to the front desk and secretly called the office and the phones were silenced. 2. There is now a lack of safety in this building. There was a security guard that would monitor the building at night but I haven't seen him since they changed the management team. So if you are a single woman then you are better finding a building with 24-hr security because it gets very shady at night.

After being told that I was approved for move-in earlier last month and me sending emails and leaving numerous telephone messages, all of which remain unanswered, that requested a move-in date, I was told that my application was declined several weeks prior today. I was also told that my documents were not uploaded in time though the documents were received the day after they were requested. Then I was told that my income was the reason as if the staff was covering their tracks for mishandling my application. The management was highly unprofessional and has caused me to never want to deal with

New management is seriously making this place look horrible. My second year here and there's lots of trash by the dog park. The place smell bad. Hardly anyone answer my emails. The maintenance staffs aren't enough to help, it seems. I see less of people that used to work here. Car broke into for the first time under new management smh

I was looking to relocate and came upon The Dawson while driving around. After touring the property I was very impressed. Two pools, a two story gym, unique floor plans and convenient location were just a few of the features that made me want to live there. The staff is super friendly and accommodated us for a tour even though they were busy with another appointment. Definitely recommend!!

Great complex! Location is highly convenient. They take good care of the property and the staff is awesome. The new asst manager Mallory is a great addition to the team and is super friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to. The manager, James is really awesome as well. The two leasing agents at the front are super helpful and accommodating. Overall amazing team.

The management team here is wonderful and always a helping hand. Shout out to MALLORY! You're awesome. I recently moved here and I was in the cypress area of 529 and barker cypress a "busy area" so honestly I don't mind the "loud" noises. We live by busy roads, it's called industrialism, if you want a quiet place, than live in the country. I love it here! All the Residents I've been in contact have been all friendly as well :) plus a bonus is Chick-fil-A is right in front of the complex so I'm not complaining. Also, the dog park is my furson favorite

I just want to say how excited I am today to make the Dawson Apartments my new home! James the manager at the property delivered awesome and professional management services from day 1 when my daughter and I came to the property! We had a few bumps with our application at first, but James showed us great compassion and concern to help up with the process to get fully approved! Above and Beyond! Pros: parking is spacious, great amenities (2 pools, breeze areas), the maintenance crew does a spectacular job with cleaning the common areas and garages/elevators DAILY! They are usually prompt, professional, and caring. Social events are fun. Good closet space and counters/cabinets are modern. Good appliances.
Cons: I don't want to mention our front desk/sales person's name. Nice/polite, but always takes forever to respond. You have to constantly chase this person down for any kind of help, which really needs to change.

This Apartment community is just awesome.They are quick to respond to any concerns or request. The office employees are so pleasant and helpful always. I hope this management team is here to stay. James the manager is great, Nicki my leasing agent has been wonderful since the beginning. Mallory is also another great help at the Dawson. I’ve been here for about 3 months and I love it. The apartments are beautiful inside out and kept very clean.

I recently applied for an apartment at this property. After a long search, I just felt like The Dawson was the Home for me. The staff is very welcoming and you can tell they know what they're doing and they actually care about the tenants. The amenities are great and the price is affordable. I can't wait until my move in date! I'm excited to see what else is in store for me there.

I applied to this property in May, there was an issue regarding my background in which was cleared up. They asked for more paycheck in which I sent in- no one ever called me to say they were not able to verify my employment in which it can be verified via The Work Number system and when they asked for bank statements I sent the information to the via email to show that my check stubs matched with the deposits in my bank account. It's been over a month since I sent the information in, every time I call to check the status I can never reach anyone in the leasing office and when you leave a message

Add sewer issues that leave tenants without working toilets, washer & dryer etc for days without a concern in the world from a management! The office is closed to the public due to covid but stress over and over that they are here for tenants however they rarely answer the phone or email no matter how important it is.

Over the past few months my boyfriend and I have been desperately searching for an apartment, but none have met our expectations...until we came to The Dawson. When we walked in we were greeted by several friendly employees who made us feel very welcomed! There was one employee in particular, a leasing agent named Richard, who really went above and beyond all the rest! I've lived at the Dawson Apartments for almost three years and it's been wonderful! The building amenities are great. The Management team is always accommodating and easy to work with- they pride themselves on building a sense of community through monthly events for the tenants. Maintenance is always prompt to fix any issues, and they keep the building in great shape. Special shout out to Nicki and Larry.

Nice apartment! My friends are staying so I often visit this place and I like the facilities and equipments that are available to residents. Once I start working near there I don’t mind moving there in the future. Security seems secured with the automated metal gates. There are a few pools, the gym, dog park, outside cooking place, fire place etc etc. If you are looking for a secured place in Houston. I recommend this place for you. The receptionists are very chill and welcoming so make a time to visit here. Cheers
