I applied at The Islands after speaking with Katie in the office all day about the application process. I was very excited to make this place mine and my children’s new home. Before I submitted my application I asked her if credit was going to be an issue because I knew I had an old bill on there and she said no they didn’t look at credit only rental history and employment verification. She went into detail about how I needed to have my employer type a letter and I needed to bring tax information because I’m a nanny. I paid the $50 fee and an hour later she called and said I was denied because

My husband and I as well as our four children have been here for a year now. We absolutely love it. It is a peaceful and quiet community. The amenities are very suitable. Lastly, it is near wonderful schools for the kids. Shopping for the family, and wonderful restaurants for date night and the family. Added bonus: minutes away from the beach. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a change.

The townhome community is friendly and safe. My unit was clean and fresh with new faux wood flooring when I moved in. The maintenance staff is very quick to respond, sometimes they come within the hour and are friendly. The office staff is good about communication. My family has had a great experience living here.

A beautiful, friendly community to live in. My husband and I have been here for a year and just re-upped our lease again since we love it so much! Being close to Folly Beach is amazing as well. Special thanks to everyone at the Islands Community but especially to Katie Feld, she helped us from the moment we were looking into places and was instrumental in finding the perfect unit for us, and she continued to be there for us every step of the way (especially when moving in COVID times proved challenging!) - even now when I have any questions about rent, packages, lease, etc. Katie is always ready

My husband & I have been living at The Islands for two years & have been thoroughly pleased. The community is well kept & very pretty. All of our surrounding neighbors have been kind. Maintenance concerns are addressed promptly & Katie in the leasing office is always pleasant. My only feedback for suggested improvement would be to see about adding insulation for the walls. Unfortunately, we can hear our neighbors TV & animals when they bark. However, in any rental or shared wall situation, one should always anticipate a reasonable level of having these concerns. Otherwise, we’re quite happy

I have lived at the islands for 2.5 years and have loved it! Management has been exceptional - responsive, friendly and always helpful. Any repairs have been fixed well and quick. The apartments are cozy and spacious. I love having the woods, walking paths, county park, beach, downtown, johns Island, west ashley (basically everything) so close! Great place to live. I'm moving for work or else I'd definitely stay here.
