I love this place! People are long term and we get to know our neighbors. The park has lovely tree covered sights, ponds, running creeks. I feel secure in knowing it is gated and there is someone always on watch. This park, because they have long term guests, allows us to set up in a more permanent manner with movable decks or dog kennels, and some guests have small chicken coops!
Everyone is friendly, and we help each other out when needed. We have a variety of ages as well, yet it remains peaceful.
I like that there is no traffic going through.
Great place! Oh, and a fishing pond too!😊

This place has so many large live oak! Many people not only fish but feed the catfish at the front pond. On a personal note WiFi is great and I love how very quiet the park is since most of park is far from the main road. I have lived here for years and it is amazing how many people will help you. I have had friends in the park come pick me up when my car broke down and even bring me food and supplies when I was sick last year.

I could not say enough positive things about my stay at Canyon Cove.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful, it's quiet, and it's clean.
Deb and Dave are some of the nicest people you could possibly meet and they helped us on a number of occasions with our very old camper.
The free wifi is actually really good wifi and you're not limited to any number of devices.
The other residents are kind and courteous of remaining quiet in the evenings.
It's very central to the goings on of Canyon Lake while not being far from New Braunfels either.
100% would recommend for your long term stay

Pet friendly for friendly pets / A great family getaway location
This RV park is a quiet scenic hideaway tucked into the Guadalupe River Valley and just across the street from Overlook Park at Canyon Dam. Canyon City and the neighboring villages are easily accessible and have everything you need. New Braunfels and Gruene are just minutes away for specialty items and fantastic restaurants. Tubing on the Guadalupe is just down the road a bit and plenty of live Americana music venues around here on the weekends.
Most of the sites in the park have partial to full shade in summer. The park also has

I made a reservation here short notice for work. I arrived around 5 everything seemed cool but when we arrived they turned us down because they thought my treeing Tennessee brindle was a pitbull. (look up the breed on google I don't think she looks like a pit) Our dog was being calm and friendly while the owners dogs were aggressively barking nonstop the entire encounter. now we are stuck out here with no place to go because it is after 5 on a Sunday and everywhere else is booked or closed. If you are trying to find an rv park in this area call someone else who is not so judgmental and biased

My wife and I currently live at this park while we wait for our home. This is an amazing park. Take time to get the owners - the are amazing people and truly care for the customers. The parks is quiet and safe with a wonderful stream and quiet ponds. Stay for a weekend or longer and you won't be disappointed. ~Joel and Christine Williams

Don't waist your time!! Not worth the frustration of living in a very hostile living environment. Owners are crazy. They don't like Catholics. I've never been religiously persecuted ever. If your ok with a gun toting
Land lord go for it. Deb is just as bad if not worse then Dave. Don't waist your time there!! There's plenty of places to go then to have to deal with him
shooting snakes behind RV's because they don't do any mowing or weed eating. The hiking area is littered with trash, deer carcasses and sharp metal. I'm sure he will have a rebuttal against

Great place to stay for just a few days. Its more of a long term area but the owners were great, friendly and polite and willing to help out in any way.We had fun fishing and just hanging out we will definitely come back . Very reasonably priced too and they are very pet friendly and great people. It's close to the lake which is a plus too and they have two ponds to fish in onsite and hiking trails.

Beautiful, peaceful and serene park! Most campers are long-term so it's like a small community set back from the rest of the world! They have monthly Meet and Eats, holiday gatherings and worship services! There is a stocked pond to fish, a running stream that wanders through the park and a 20-acre hiking wilderness! And the rate at $430 month that includes electricity--can't be beat! *I would give it a 5* but it has no amenities whatsoever :( Hopefully the new owners are working on changing that! :))

The owners are nice enough I guess, but you should be warned that there are no showers or bathrooms in the whole place. We checked in, paid up, and then I went to find the bathrooms, and there aren't any. This seems like a place to live in a beat up old trailer, not somewhere to stay for a weekend.
They did refund our money...

Great lake to boat, jet ski, swim, kayak, fish and party. You can find great cabins rentals around the area or you can also find numerous RV parks close to the lake. Some RV parks even have full septic hook ups, Canyon Cove, with water and electricity.
Ask where Party Cove is located at. Boats tie off to each other, share music and have festivities for folks of all ages.
