Lawson Realty Group, LLC and its agents represent ONLY the Landlord and or Owner of the property in any rental transaction. We typically process rental applications within two business days.
We generally allow one pet per unit, however the final decision on the type and number of pets is up to the property owner. For information specific to the property you are interested in, please refer to the property ad. For instance, if the property ad states, "No fees, No Deposits", then that particular property does not require any additional fees or deposits for pets.

I don't mind my security deposit going towards repairs (I admit my bad for the nail holes) and for thorough cleaning, but I swept and mopped and wiped down the place which is more than I can say about the condition when I moved in. It looked like my place had not been inspected well prior to moving in, or it had been inspected but nothing had been done. When I moved in the place had a dust pile on the floor and the oven tray had issues (which I got charged for) and a mirror was left (that I also left). these things were minor, but I did not appreciate getting charged for things that were not done

I honestly have no complaints. No matter how small of a question, they seem to have the time to research it and reply back as soon as possible. The service they provide and the detail of the problem they provide me, allows me to make my own decisions on which way or how the repairs should be handled. So I really do enjoy working with Lawson Realty Group, and any other property I may find, or buy later. I do plan on bringing to them.

After managing my own rental property for 25+ years, I decided to try an outside company to do it. I turned everything over to Lawson Realty to manage my rental property about 3 years ago.
I only have one regret - I wish I would have turned things over to them much sooner than I did. I have mostly worked with Rob and Will. They have a great team and are effective in what they do. I am impressed with their expertise and professionalism. I have confidence they look out for my interests and are attentive to the needs of our renters. I recommend them without any reservation.

I am very pleased with the management of my rental property by Lawson Realty. Starting with assistance renovating the unit, their speed in finding a reliable tenant, their ongoing managing of the tenancy and the prompt payments from the rental as well as clear and concise record keeping. My family and I are in the process of relocating to Roanoke, and I have emailed Sybil several times about setting up appointments to look at rental properties, to which I never received a response. It is hard to believe that people will not respond to someone that may want to give them business, and in turn money. What a horrible first impression.

Renting from this company is not recommended. Place was filthy when I moved in but when I moved out you should have seen the long list of what he wanted me to clean. The a/c ducts for one thing, and they were so dirty when I moved in. I forgot to mail the rent check before I went out of town one time. I called and asked if it would be okay if I paid I day late. NOPE! I had to fed-ex a check from out of town. What a pain. He is not nice to work with. Do not rent from this guy.
