We are proud to provide a meaningful and rewarding summer camp experience for girls. Everything we do is intentionally structured to make sure campers, and staff, get the most out of their time with us. We love watching our campers grow and develop as they discover who they really are during their time at camp.
The friendships, experiences and growth opportunities are too numerous to count. Check out our News and Reviews page to learn more about Kippewa. We are proud to be featured on "best camps" lists, and to see our campers and staff in a variety of news articles, blogs posts, podcasts, and more!

Services
Enrolling online is easy. You can complete our application in 5-10 minutes. For returning families the information pre-populates from previous years, saving you even more time! You have the option to "save for later" if needed. Pay by credit card or eCheck: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and eCheck/ACH payments are accepted through the secure online application.
We are glad you are interested in Kippewa and invite you to enjoy the information, photos and videos available on our website. We want to start out with some of the basics - Camp Kippewa is an all girls summer camp located in Monmouth, Maine on beautiful Lake Cobbosseecontee. Girls entering grades 2 - 10 (ages 7 through 15) may attend Kippewa for a three and a half-week traditional camp experience.
Ground transportation to scheduled locations in MA/CT/NY and BOS / PWM airports, canteen, trips, linens, towels, and laundry - all INCLUDED. Discounts are per camper, not per family, so each camper is eligible based on number of years attended. KAP - Kippewa tuition assurance program - protect your investment and extend your refund timing.
At Kippewa, we want the focus to be on fun, so we ask that our girls wear non-designer, "camp-friendly" clothing. Most girls wear cotton shorts and a t-shirt or tank top. Girls also need to bring appropriate footwear for whatever activity they are participating in. If trying an activity for the first time we do not expect specialized equipment but if a girl is a tennis player, for instance, she should bring her racquet with her to camp.
Home to summer camping for over 100 years, cool nights and warm, sunny days provide the perfect backdrop to lots of activity and spending time outdoors. Our own Lake Cobbosseecontee is iconic Maine: a crystal clear lake, dotted with tree covered islands to explore, and boasts the only inland lighthouse.

Came here for their annual Family Camp again this year. Kids love it (they don't stop talking about it all year long). They love the freedom they get to choose their activities (and so do we as parents) and we get a chance to join them, do another activity or sit by the lake, relax and catch up on our reading. Truly awesome.

It’s amazing to see the place I learned to swim, waterski and appreciate the great works of William Shakespeare ,is still bringing people together to make loving memories and friendships.
It’s also wonderful to see the old and new blended in a way that makes me long for the actual days of being at Camp Kippewa enjoying the lake.❤️❤️❤️
