My name is Rachel. I'm the Founder & CEO of Design To Be, an EQ coach, and meditation & yoga teacher. I inspire authentic empowered connection, so that, together, we can create meaningful impact. After years of struggling with migraines, anxiety, depression, and perfectionism, I began to practice meditation & yoga and invest in my EQ.

Through years of practice, I began to cultivate a present awareness of lovingkindness and shatter limiting beliefs I had towards myself. Thus, I grew in ways I used to not believe were possible. This expedited growth led me to create Design To Be, coach folks on their career and their emotional intelligence, give keynote talks, as well as teaching meditation and yoga.

Italy is home to much of the world's greatest art, architecture, and cuisine. It revives the way we see, taste, smell, hear, and touch unlike many other places in the world. With our senses activated, we can more easily release stress, authentically connect with others, and be in the present moment.
Rachel gave a talk on workplace wellbeing and mindfulness for our UX Recruiting All-Hands. She inspired our team to be more intentional. And, the importance of slowing down to speed up. Designers, we know it's essential to fine-tune our craft in order to lead or create real impact. What most of us don't focus on is our relationship with the craft itself and how we relate to others while designing.

Rachel’s yoga class is exactly what you need at the end of a day - her class mixes relaxing flow and stretching with some great core/strength movements. Ending the day with guided transitions between stillness, stretching, breaking a sweat and then back to relaxing the body/mind for a clearer head the next day is always great, and Rachel is the perfect person to take you through these movements. She has much knowledge to share regarding yoga and the technical body movements that can assist in deepening your understanding and benefit of the yoga practice. She teaches in a confident yet calm manner

Rachel puts on amazing classes! Super welcoming and inclusive. I am pretty much a novice and she did an excellent job explaining the pose variations and breathing patterns. Definitely going to sign up for some more classes!!

Rachel’s class is a breath of fresh air. It combines meditation, yoga, core, strength, and stretching and left me just the right amount of sore. It was challenging, yet doable for all levels. I loved this class so much and left feeling totally refreshed. Great vibes all around (and music!). Thank you Rachel, I can’t wait to come take your class again!

Amazing class. Both a great workout and restorative mentally. She takes the time to make sure everyone gets attention, and the music is awesome too.

I attended Rachel’s Connect to Flow yoga class and left feeling rested and energized. I have a shoulder injury and I appreciated all of the modifications Rachel cued throughout class. Music makes or breaks a yoga class for me personally, so I loved the progression of sounds Rachel curated for us that evening. This is a full mind + body workout for all levels, so be prepared to sweat! I’m looking forward to bringing my partner with me to the next one.
