Maintenance issues are resolved in the order they are received, emergencies take priority. We make every effort to have issues resolved within 24-48 hours. You can decorate your apartment as you wish, however, to avoid penalty you will have to restore it back to its original form before moving out.

It's very common to have water shut off for a whole building because of pipes busting. During this big freeze water to 4-5 building have been completely shut off because of broken pipes. Turned off Monday with no ETA, and now its Wed afternoon with zero communication. The only communication we have received is that offices will be closed. Message about what phone line to call for updates. Nothing online. I have 2 little boys. How are we suppose to flush toilets, cook, clean, wash laundry, shower, and drink? I bet the apartments won't give those directly affected any kind of discount on their bills

If it weren't for the exceptional office staff (Ashley and Hannah) and our AMAZING maintenance team ( Vic and Trevor) we would have been long gone.. there's a whole list of problems I could list. But the office and maintenance have done everything they can to help me and my family out, we absolutely love them and honestly it makes living here easy when the issues are quickly solved.

Lived here from 2016-2021. Moved to be closer to work, otherwise I definitely would have renewed! The new property managers have done a great job of updating the quality of life of the complex. New paint and privacy fences on balconies, better lighting, and now offering washer and dryer rentals.
Management is very professional and responsive, maintenance was great and always very prompt. Sure, the apartments are a little bit older but they are still a great value, especially for the area. Loved my time here!

If I could give 0 stars I would. There is so much wrong with this management and the units within the complex. The most concerning is that the management will cheat you and rack up unfounded charges upon move out and cost you hundreds of dollars. If you dispute the charges, good luck because they'll send you to collections without notifying you and you are left paying the bill or having your credit suffer. If you do move in here's some advice: Take pictures of everything prior to moving in your stuff, and I mean everything. Take pictures of every base board, of every inch of the carpet, of the

DO NOT RENT.
Almost every Staircase in every building is falling apart, the management knows they just don’t care enough to fix it.
They would much rather paint the buildings with new paint and give us fancy new thermostats than fix hazards that can seriously injure the tenants. Hell there is a new born on my third story and the stairs are crumbling and instead of fixing it they have maintenance update the red paint outside. Makes a lot of sense.
Supposedly if you write a review you can be entered into a drawing for a box of chocolates, how sweet they worry about raffles and new paint than

I am so impressed with Peppermill Apartments. The apartments are really spacious and well maintained. The location is very good and the customer service especially from Hannah is exemplary. She takes ownership of her job and is warm and professional.
It is hard to get an available apartments so sometimes you have to wait but it is worth the wait. They are also easy on your budget.
I am an apartment locator and am always checking to see if they have apartments when a client requests the area. An excellent property.

Not very happy here. I've lived in quite a few apartments and have never been so disappointed. I came here trying to save some money. I knew coming in that the apartments are older and some issues were to be expected...but it's just been one after another here. I'm not one to complain but I feel like all I do is submit maintenance requests. When I moved in, you could tell the apartment was not properly cleaned and the company or contractor who painted just painted over the dust/dirt. One of the toilets was constantly running and losing the water in the tank...my AC has gone out.

This place is abhorrent. Save your money, time and sanity and live anywhere else.
The whole property is infested with COCKROACHES and FLEAS during the warmer parts of the year. Both pests carry deadly diseases. They claim to have a standing order with Worldwide Pest control but I've never seen them outside and they've certainly never sprayed inside my unit but they are real quick to take that $5/mo for pest control. When I renewed my lease they tried to tack on the whole year's pest control fee unbeknownst to me. They backed off when I told them that I couldn't afford it all

These apartments are bad I do not recommend anyone moving an here. Everything is old I have asked to them to fix a lot when I moved in never fixed anything my husband had to fix everything and that not right at all. the employers here are really rude, I have called and emailed them they do not get back to me unless I walk to the office. The pools are dirty especially the one in the back I couldn't take my kid to swim during the summer. I'm glad I no longer live there.

Peppermill is a great place to live. My husband and I have been living here for about 6years now. The management is fantastic. Mirtha is always there to help us. Hannah and Megan always have a smile and ask us how we are doing. The community is private and it's backed by trees to an empty field. Right by a police and fire station so we always feel safe.

First day I was treated with disrespect because I was 30 minutes late after they closed from driving 7.5 hours with a UHaul and had everything i owned in it and the manager told me I would have to get a hotel because she wasn't staying after (ironically she was late for a church event). After that I had my apartment balcony set on fire twice the first time the fire department kicked my front door in and left it broken open and unsecured for the night and right below my front door set on fire once. I had a leak bust through my ceiling in the living room. I had cold water showers off and on

Stayed here years ago but waited a long time to post a review. This was the first apt i owned by myself. I stayed there 15 months and it was amazing. Yea... it was older and I only left because I got a brand new apartment for the same pricew but i never once had issues with bugs or noise. About a year passed and me and my cousin were going to move in together. I recommend peppermill because it was cheap and I never had any issues. BIGGGG MISTAKE!!! Our first night setting up we found 3 large water roaches. Im absolutely terrified of bugs. I called, then the next day 3 more.... in our pantry! I

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ROACH INFESTED DUMP! I STAYED FOR 13 MONTHS AND HAD TO REPORT ROACHES IN MY APARTMENT 8 TIMES! After I moved out they charged me a BS cleaning which I paid, and 4 months later they reported me a credit bureau for unpaid balance, I HAVE MY RECEIPT! SHADY AND DISGUSTING!!!! We hard working individuals should spend our money in places that appreciate our business, don't waste your time with these people!!
