Named after famed Charlevoix master builder, Earl Young. His love for boulders, nature, and incorporating landscape into his designs led to his creation of the Weathervane Lodge, built in 1959. After decades of wear, we were inspired to build on his vision, add a modern twist, and bring an updated feel to a Charlevoix mainstay.

Small. more like a boutique. pool is also small. my view from my balcony was a parking lot... how fun.
staff was despicable. could definitely tell the management was off. i could read the vibes and atmosphere around me. advertises free breakfast but i did the math and seemed like i might have got charged. heard a maid or something say something about the construction company and i heard the word "sued." the free parking section is on the side of the street. not attractive at all. towels were musty. nothing seemed put together or matching. too tacky for my taste.

A delightfully upscale, but reasonably priced boutique hotel. The furnishings were all like new and beautiful. The website shows exactly what you will see in person so it does not disappoint. The lobby has wonderful artwork as well yet the entire experience still has a homey environment even though it is a more eclectic hotel

This whole situation is a bit unusual, and I am usually very lenient when it comes to customer service, but this has frustrated me enough to where I feel this review is my only recourse left at this point.
My husband and I had booked a stay for Sunday night, but on this last Tuesday our car broke down and we knew we would be unable to make it up to Charlevoix. Hotel Earl has a no-refund policy for cancellations within 10 days, which we understood. We called on Wednesday to see if there were any options (refund, credit, move the date, etc.) to make this situation a bit easier on us. On that same

This place is amazing! Very modern and trendy. Loved the room and the decor, bed and furniture was beautiful and comfortable. Pool and hot tub is so nice and relaxing, I
like that it was more geared towards adults. The bar was beautiful and served great top of line mixed drinks. Prices are accordingly to the quality of spirits, well worth it. Definitely will return!
