It's one thing to isolate a certain muscle group when you train, and it's another thing when you train synergistically with us. In addition to training the major muscle groups of your body, our classes incorporate movements that will strengthen your lumbar spine and torso muscles - the foundation for all the other muscles in the body.
For complete lengthening and release of your muscles, try our Yoga classes. If you prefer to train like an athlete, push yourself to your limits, and challenge yourself like never before, then our Group Fitness, High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Cross Training and TRX classes are for you. To help you boost your metabolism and decrease your recovery time, we offer Cardio / Kickboxing classes.

I'm addicted to this gym now! The workouts are always challenging and fun. I like how the instructors correct you so you don't hurt yourself and they're always very encouraging. Everyone is so nice at this gym. I also love the variety of times they offer. It's super clean and they take covid precautions seriously. I'm so happy I found this gem!

This facility is clean, staff are friendly and everyone is so welcoming. I was looking for a gym and trainer that would keep me wanting to come in because relying on myself to workout wasn't doing it. Especially when I had no idea what I was doing going to a regular gym by myself. What I love the most is that the workouts are different every time and planned out to challenge us, yet keep it fun. I look forward to continue training at Substance and getting healthier and stronger!

I have been working out here for many years and I have never felt better. Maesa is one of the best trainers, he knows how to help you with workouts that are tailored to your needs. But yet they are workouts that push you to be your best and still keep you coming back for more. The staff is friendly and always very helpful. This gym is like no other, the workouts are always challenging-mind and body, always new and creative. The atmosphere is welcoming & pristine. Brandi and Maesa are wonderful human beings, so pleasant to deal with whether it's Brandi regarding our account or Maesa in the weight room pushing us to be better than we think we could be. I'm hooked and happy to call this place my second home.

Substance's trainer, Maesa, makes every workout unique and challenging. I love the switch up of cardio-based and strength-based workouts, which has helped me be the healthiest and strongest I have ever been. The community helps me stay motivated to come back every day. There really isn't anything better than working out with friends that push and inspire you to work hard. There are a variety of workout packages you can sign up for, along with add-ons like the macros nutritional program, yoga, cycling, and TRX classes. Try it out! It will speak for itself.

My husband has been attending Substance Fitness since it first opened. He really enjoys the workouts and appreciates that Maesa takes into consideration he is not as young as others that attend and he has limitations due to a bad knee. Currently we both are in a nutrition program built around counting Macro Nutrients. We are both enjoying great success at the halfway point!

I have tried so many different group fitness classes in Orange County and the classes at Substance Fitness are BY FAR the best for so many reasons! The trainers focus on the quality of your movement to prevent injury and help you to gain strength correctly! I love the family feel and how everyone is so warm and welcoming. Whether you are an experienced exercise fanatic or new to strength/HIIT training you will love this place! I can't recommend it enough!

I've been going to Substance Fitness for almost a year now. I knew I had to check it out after hearing my sister so motivated to come here and seeing her awesome results. I'm so glad I did! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get in shape, change things up and be challenged. I did mostly cardio prior to joining this gym and wanted to incorporate more weights. I've been going to Sweat for 2 years now. Transitioned from a strength focused gym. I didn't think I would like it as it's a combination of strength and metabolic classes depending on the day. What I didn't like about it at first is what I love about it now. It's hard, it's challenging, never gets easy but it produces results. In addition to the great classes, it's a clean facility and the people are great. They take pride in their business and it shows in the way they manage the facility. Lastly I like the scheduling of the classes as you know what to expect

I've done several different kinds of workouts from a private trainer to Orangetheory. Sweat/Substance is an amazing workout every single time I go. Maesa is a wonderful trainer who is always watching, guiding, teaching, correcting, and helping me be the best I can be (and not get hurt). The people are all friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. If you are looking for a great place to workout, get strong, and lose weight... this is the place!

I've been taking heated yoga at Hawt Yoga for nearly a year. Hawt Yoga is inside a cross training gym called Sweat Boutique Fitness which is operated by a couple named Maesa and Brandi. After training yoga at Hawt for awhile and getting my body into better condition I decided to kick things up a notch and try Sweat.
Sweat is tucked inside an industrial complex in Los Alamitos. The decor is clean, hip and modern. There are clean restrooms, a shower and changing room if you need to freshen up after a workout.
Sweat is open Monday through Saturday and has classes in the mornings and evenings

This gym is AMAZING. It has become one of my favorite places to be. The facility is clean, modern and spacious. They offer numerous classes and the workouts are always different. This gym accommodates all levels of fitness. I love coming here to work out, the staff is super friendly and the environment is always encouraging. It's a safe place where your gym buddies end up becoming your biggest supporters.
