I have been here for almost a year. I pay for a reserved parking spot. Last night I accidentally parked in the the wrong spot, next to my reserved one. They had my car towed instead of calling me to move my car. They could see that I have tag showing that I have a spot but they didn't even have the courtesy to call me. I can't get out of here fast enough.

We lost our apartment to a fire back in August when lightening hit our unit. We had been living at the Haven for almost three years before the disaster happened and we lost everything. The property managers WERE KICKING US OUT before we were even able to see the damage done to our apartment. They didn’t offer us a new unit to temporarily relocate to, and they said if anything opened up they would have to start a new 12 month lease and there would be a price increase (mind you we only had 3 months left on our lease). They knew that we had three children, two of which are special needs infants

When it comes to living in apartments I am aware that there will always be minor issues. However, I don't consider theft a minor issue. Especially when a complex promotes being a "gated community." My cars catalytic converter was stolen over night. I then came to the reviews and saw that someone else's was stolen less than a month ago.This complex is aware that theft is happening and is doing nothing to increase security. Also the parking situation is true. There is no parking and sometimes have to park far away from your unit so there's no real way to keep an eye on your car.

With most apartments you really don't see any positive feedback, however I must say The Haven Apartments is a great place to live! I've been a resident here for 6 months now. The maintenance staff are very nice and quick to get work orders done that I've put in. I recently visit the leasing office inquiring to move to a larger apartment when my lease ends in May. I spoke with Susan who originally helped me when I first moved in. She is a total sweetheart and will help you as much as she can. I recently referred a coworker to move here, which she loves it! I was very pleased with the referral program

Like my apartment on the inside however never any parking, my water in my apartment smells like mildew, so I can’t even drink it due to the after taste and smell it leaves and my dryer which they provided me is old and takes 5 cycles to dry one load of laundry, oh and on top of that. Not as much as a gated community when gates are always broken. My boyfriends catalytic converter got stolen off his car, so beware of your car and your surroundings.

The reviews are very mixed for this complex and I’m starting to second guess. Seeing the dead roach review and how this young lady got robbed and car stolen. I’m sorry. I’m a single lady myself moving alone, for a fresh state in life and in a completely different state on top of that. So with all this being said I personally won’t bother with proceeding with the tour and moving into these Complex.

If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. They show you the nice inside of the apartments but forget to mention the constant smell of weed inside, the amenities that are rarely allowed to be used, and the NO parking. My car has been towed twice in a month costing me $500 and management just says “We know, we’re getting a lot of complaints”. I wish they could do math and count the parking spots with how many people they are actually leasing to. I pay to live here yet CANT park anywhere.

I’ve been living here for about a year & have no complaints. We just resigned our lease for another year. Amenities are great & maintenance has always completed our service requests within 48 hours or less (usually within a day). It’s generally pretty quiet except for the occasional party a neighbor is throwing (that’s only happened to us once). The complex is well-lit and feels safe. Pricing for the “upgraded” units is comparable to other apartments in the area. This is the first apartment we’ve lived in, so I don’t have prior experience to compare to, but my husband & I are happy
