A primary care provider is the first point of contact for individuals in their acute medical care, management of chronic medical conditions, and preventive health care. The role of the primary care provider is to oversee and coordinate care and to help patients navigate the health care system. We provide general primary care for adolescents and adults.
As part of our vision to provide consolidated and complete care for our patients, our practice offers specialized gynecologic care.

This is a wonderful practice, particularly if you're LGBTQ and/or want a place that's body affirming. You don't have to be weighed, their nutritionists practice intuitive eating, and overall I feel really seen and heard each time I go. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had in a medical setting. Mosaic has been SO instrumental in my eating disorder recovery. Their focus on body/weight neutrality across their practice as a whole is so beneficial, even if you don’t have an eating disorder history. I have found the office, staff, and providers to be extremely inclusive and considerate of LGBTQ+ and also any trauma background you might have. Couldn’t say enough good things.

I am so grateful for the excellent medical care provided by Mosaic Comprehensive Care. Dr. Metz and all the staff at Mosaic are excellent. Dr. Metz is up to date on research and best practices, takes time to engage in dialogue related to my individual health issues, and is responsive in supporting my health journey. I highly recommend Mosaic Comprehensive Care!

I’ve read with surprise some of the negative reviews about Mosaic. I am in my 50’s and this is honestly the most open, inclusive, kind and competent doctor’s office I’ve been to. I see Dr. Metz and Ana for most appointments and I’ve found every nurse, medical assistant, lab tech and office staff to be top notch. I’ve never felt rushed or judged for anything I’ve shared or asked. I love that they are a full service gynecology and internal medicine provider, too.

I love coming here! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the doctors actually take time to hear you out. I also love that they don't have any scales or use weight as a measure and all the staff have pronouns on their name tags! Highly recommend them for LGBTQ+ folks and anyone looking for a non fatphobic space.

Some of the worst experiences I've ever had at a doctors office and believe me I've been to a lot as a two time cancer survivor. I am an out of state college student with some recent health issues and was just looking for a general examination and to potentially establish a primary care provider here at school, as was recommended by my nutritionist. Been here 3 times now and I literally never want to go back. My second visit the lab technician stabbed what I assume was a nerve instead of a vein considering the amount of pain I felt. Tears streaming down my face she asked me if it hurt and then

You will not find a better, more inclusive and caring practice in the Triangle. Dr. Bean is the best doctor I have ever had. She is patient, always takes the time to listen and works very hard to help me. She is like a warm doctor blanket who will keep working until you find out what is ailing you. I've also seen some of the other doctors at Mosaic, who were just as wonderful and helpful. I highly recommend this practice, especially for anyone who has had bad experiences elsewhere. This is also a healthy at every size practice, so the default answer to your medical issues won't be to lose weight

I’ve been a patient for about 4 1/2 years. I feel so comfortable and at ease. I usually see Dr. Bean. She takes the time to listen, follow up, and check in. They are not about fat shaming or weight. They care about the lab numbers and blood pressure. The staff are wonderful and always do friendly.

I have been a patient at Mosaic for about ten years. The entire staff is wonderful: kind, reliable, helpful. Dr. Metz and Dr. Bean are superb listeners and very responsive. When I have had an urgent need I have been given a quick appointment. They spend time with you in this practice. You aren’t treated like a number on a data sheet ,but a human being. They have wonderful bedside manners and are thorough in their evaluations. It’s also a happy place to visit—not fancy and posh but warm and friendly. This is the most patient-centered practice I have ever been a part of, and I am an older patient
