The Bar Fitness Club is a come and go 24 hour gym in Summerville SC. This facility exists to make humans perform better at sports and life. Members can choose from three options: come and go 24-hour access, coaching in a group atmosphere, or 1-on-1 personal training.

Services
To perform a low bar squat: bar is placed on the shelf of the upper back at base of the traps and on top of the posterior deltoids. To make a shelf: pinch shoulder blades together and pull elbows down and towards the spine. The low bar position gives you a biomechanical advantage to lift more weight by allowing the torso and chest to bend over further without compromising good form.

Personal Training provides a more intense utilization of coaching, equipment, and goal setting to those who want or need assistance in the weight room, in life, or with a sport.Personal training can better integrate you with your environment (sports, work, getting old, etc) by practicing proper movement patterns with the right level of difficulty.

The Bar Fitness and the coaching methodology, has changed my powerlifting performance and quality of life. In one year, I have set six records in the100kg/220lbs and 90kg/198lbs weight classes. The level of fitness, I feel, is the reason I have a eight month old baby and I’ll be 50 years old in 2022. If you are serious about your health, and you want results. Leave your excuses at home and come to The Bar Fitness!

I travel on the road for work. Doing installs in a different city every week of the year. I’m a planet fitness member solely for their availability in every city. BUT the environment and personality that The Bar Fitness Club possesses is exactly what you want when working out a gym. I highly recommend going to this gym. From the customer service to the equipment and music choice this is a gym I’ll be returning to when I’m in Summerville.

This is such an awesome gym! They make amazing use of the space and have a place to do just about any exercise you might need. The people that I encountered there (employees and patrons) were friendly and welcoming. I was free to go through my workout without worrying about anyone bothering or judging me. Plenty of deadlift platforms, squat racks, benches, chalk, and belts available. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!

I had a great experience! both Richie and Hayden were very friendly and welcoming. They made the sign up/drop-in process super easy and the gym had all the equipment I would need for my 3 days of training. Next time I come back to SC, I will be using their facilities again. Best Gym in Summerville hands down!!! Really great environment with a community of people that will help you push to become stronger and more flexible. Best equipment you will find in the Charleston area and the trainers and coaches really know what they are talking about. Lots of people willing to help and encourage you.
