Disorganized management. They took away our aid without notice in advance, letting us hang dry. When they couldn't find an aid for us, they just discharged us without communication. Most important of all, I would not use the word, "compassionate" to describe their management. The nurse scolded at us when we forgot to place the care plan at the designated location for the aid to review. However, we weren't even given an aid at that time.

Care coordinators almost never return calls. It is sickening and reportable to the NYS human rights commission how they contract out minority clients they choose not to deal with. Nascentia is one of two agencies that accepts Medicaid and Medicare but if you live in a poor neighborhood, are a minority, and/or have any problems they don’t feel like they dealing with they will outsource your case to the next agency like they are selling humans. If you are at the hospital tell them to refer your case to i-circle and save you the headache of having to deal with the nepotism when you try to make complaints

My "care coordinator" never gives me a call back but has no qualms to denying my medical transportation because they feel that me getting my meds isn't necessary, and they should be "delivered to me" even though I would incur the full cost of the deliver + the medication. I am completely out of medication rn, and they won't even go so far as to call em or explain why I can't get it. I've left several messages and never get a call back if I request her

We were provided with home health care for our premie to ensure she was thriving once she was home. Our assigned nurse was so sweet and wonderful! She answered any questions and concerns we had. She was always a phone call/text away if needed. My daughter has since been discharged from her care as she no longer needs the service. Going to miss her nurse. Highly recommend this agency.

Nascentia Health is fantastic! Their services provided me with the opportunity to return to my home after surgeries instead of having to go to a facility for my care. That was so important to my recovery! Nascentia nursing came to my house as well as called me to check on me. They were able to work with my doctors and answer any questions I had.
I also received Physical Therapy services. They are spectacular! They worked within my schedule, provided me with exercises to strengthen my body and answered my questions as well as calmed my fears.
