Susan loves helping her clients choose the best eyewear for their situation. She specializes in finding frames for hard-to-fit faces, and for people with strong prescriptions. Having worked in both contact lens manufacturing and eyeglass lens manufacturing, she brings specialized knowledge to her job at Optica.
She greatly enjoys reading with her digital progressive eyeglasses. Ron Taddeo - aka 'the solder guy' - has been at Optica for over 40 years. His opticianry skills are unparalleled, and he's rarely faced an optical problem that he couldn't solve. He can repair almost any damaged frame, and enjoys a challenge.

We carry Randolph Engineering sunglasses - made right here in Randolph Massachusetts. Need prescription sunglasses? We offer prescription Costa del Mars, as well as many other brands.
With the newest technology in lab equipment, your eyeglasses are produced right here in our shop. That means we have total control over the quality of the eyewear we dispense. And, because we have our own lab, that means that we can fabricate your eyeglasses more quickly, and to higher standards. Most of our glasses are completed in less than a week, many of them within a day or two.

Easily the best experience I’ve had an optical shop. The staff is highly knowledgeable and always willing to consult on different matters. They also have a great selection of items. In short, it is a wonderful store run by absolutely wonderful people and one that I couldn’t possibly recommend strongly enough.

Excellent, individualized service is what you will receive at Optica. When I needed new glasses I was able to find what I was looking for (very large selection of frames). When I wanted to repair an older pair of glasses to use as a spare, I once again received personal attention and care. And in my case at least, the repair turned out to be free of charge.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lately I have been trying to balance and tighten my frames. In the past I have always left feeling humiliated or just ignored when I've come in. Today was the last straw for me. I came in and asked for my frames to be tightened and the woman employee humiliated me again by saying " I guess you would need them tightened if you were always looking at your belly button" !!!

I have been going to Optica for years taking my parents then getting my own glasses. Susan is terrific in helping you find the right pair. The reason I am writing is because the last time I was in she said have you processed your insurance? I didn't think they would cover but she gave me the form and reciept and all I had to do was put it in an envelope and put a stamp on. Insurance covered half. If Susan had not made it so easy I wouldn't have processed it. Ron has fixed a lot of glasses over the years. I find they have a great selection and appreciate the way they both take care

I stopped into Optica with a pair of eyeglasses which were slipping off my face because of a faulty hinge.The glasses were at least 2 years old and I had not purchased the glasses at this shop. The manager, (owner?) told me that her technician was away on holiday, but that she would see if she could do something to improve the situation. She did 2 separate things that greatly improved the functioning of the hinges and the fit. She was very friendly and did not even charge me for her time. Very pleased!

Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and personal. I was disgusted with LensCrafters cheap and overpriced products/quotes, so went here instead. So glad! The service was great, they care about the customer. The glasses frame I ended up getting is far better quality then the "Designer" frames I had always picked at Lense Crafters, and the lenses are amazing! I didn't even know there could be a difference in how lenses felt until I got them here. No adjustment for field of vision (and I have progressives), everything is super clear. Highly would recommend this place!!!

Amazing experience. Susan is wonderful! I have an old pair of sunglasses, missing a very odd nose pad, "primadonna". All the local chain stores do not carry it, BJ's, Costco, Target, lens craft. I ordered twice from the internet, nothing fits. I really don't want to throw away my sunglasses, just because I can not find the nose pad! What a nice surprise. Susan fixed it within a minute and charged me for nothing. She also gave me many useful advice on my many questions. Highly recommended to everyone.

2. They have a huge inventory of frames, ranging from "Hey, my grandma would like those and look great in them!" to "OMG I have never seen anything that cool before!"

After spending about a month looking for new frames, I wandered into Optica. Honestly, before I went in, I thought they only sold sunglasses. They have a HUGE selection of very stylish and trendy frames. The people working there were excellent and very knowledgable. The price of the frames wasn't bad considering what I was getting. The lenses, however, were a little pricey. Overall, I spent a little over 700 for the whole thing and am very satified with the service, selection, and final product. If you have problems finding frames that fit, I would recommend you try here!
