Here at El Rancho, we take pride in offering authentic, handmade Mexican food that tastes great! Our signature dishes are favorites among town and they're always fresh and delicious. It's all about fresh ingredients, our family's traditional recipes, wonderful spices and flawless preparation. Hit and miss depending on who you’re served by. Usually pretty good, recently had a cashier at who said she didn’t like what I had ordered, incorrectly punched in my order, and then wouldn’t let me pay for the rest because it was under the $3 limit. You get what you pay for.

With being in a pandemic, there was buckets of uncovered chips setting out and customers walking pass them, and the food was not very tasty.

Mediocre at best decent for really really intoxicated people which there have been many every time I have been there. In fact I think I might have been the only sober person other than the employees and even then I'm not sure if the employees were sober. Definitely low quality Mexican food specially engineered for highly drunk people. I've heard good things about the vegetarian burrito though. But that person was drunk too.

You see "authentic" thrown around a lot in the food industry. This is one of the few places in Columbia that is legit. Definitely returning! Very friendly and 10/10 food!

Their food is always fresh and neat. Everytime i go in there they have friendly service even when they’re getting slammed. The drinks are amazing and it’s always clean

This was by far the best burrito I have ever eaten! We got a few of these and brought them back to the bar we were in. They were the perfect way to end the night!

Good authentic Mexican - American food that is delivered fast, tasty, and plentiful. The price is reasonable for the amount of food provided. This is not really a formal sit down restaurant with waitresses and hosts, but for a good low cost Mexican food place it's a decent choice.

I was truly shocked at how fresh and delicious this food tasted! The shrimp tacos were incredible and they grill it all there right in front of you. The grilled chicken nachos were the perfect mix of gooey, melty cheese and crunchy, salty chip with seasoned chicken. The inside is all hand painted murals with a Mizzou twist that added the perfect funky vibe. The staff was super friendly as well!

Truly, a mouthwatering savory piece of Old México in the MidWest.
Prompt, and Courteous service. The flavors are a gastronomic delight.
There isn’t a bad choice on the menu board.
And... they offer a choice of corn tortillas... with EVERYTHING.

When I lived above them one of them stole my bike. After I moved out I was walking down the back alley and found it spray painted and chained up right outside the back door. True story. 🤷‍♂️

This is one of our go to spots while in Columbia visiting my daughter at college! In fact, we usually eat here a couple of times during a few days visit. The food is delicious AND authentic! My go to are the carne asada tacos. Asks for onions and cilantro and don’t forget the hot salsa!!!
