After years of Pilates training & experiencing the life-changing effects Joseph's work had on her, Lisa Gratale wanted to carry on the Pure, Authentic teachings of Joseph Pilates and make his method accessible to those in the Bergen County area. Iva is a native of Albania who found her passion for Authentic Pilates in 1998 when she moved to New Jersey after receiving her Bachelors in English Literature at "Montana State University".

The "POWERHOUSE" - abdomen, lower back, and buttocks - is supported and strengthened, enabling the rest of the body to move freely.

I had a free Pilates evaluation with Iva and it was over an hour's workout! Iva was patient, knowledgeable, and warm. She quickly adjusted the position if I wasn't able to do it and was completely non-judgmental. I highly recommend Iva and Energy Pilates! The location is lovely, and easy to find with ample parking in the lot.
