There are many ways to enjoy our contemporary Indian flavors. In addition to dining in our full-service restaurant, Cardamom also offers take-out, delivery and catering. We are from Australia and struggled to find Indian that meets the same flavour as over there but this restaurant definitely wow'd us.
I had the chilli paneer and saffron rice and it was delicious. Husband had the saffron lamb byriani. Garlic naan was one of the best had anywhere. Amazing food and service. I can honestly say this place has the best Indian food I have ever tasted. The food was bold and full of flavor in addition a hint of sweetness in the masala and butter chicken.

This place is fantastic. The food is incredible, and I couldn't put down the garlic naan! Every bite was better than the last. We will definitely be returning and making this one of our regular restaurants on Honolulu. Also, the person working there was so kind and gave my daughter a pineapple drink that she loved! I highly recommend Cardamom.

I have been to allot of Indian restaurants in my lifetime and as of late some of my favorites including local favorites have really dropped in quality in my opinion. I heard about Cardamom from an article and was excited to see a new Indian option had opened in the area. Today my son and I went to try it out and we both walked away impressed. Food was very good and service was great as well. If your looking for a great option on Montrose and a really good Indian restaurant then check them out. @Cardamom congrats and hope you do well, just don't change your recipes or food quality!!

We ordered to go, the veggie samosas were delicious, light and crispy but they forgot to include the tamarind chutney. My husband loved the chicken vindaloo, a bit too spicy for me, I enjoyed the Lamb Korma very much and the garlic naan was great. Very happy to have them in the neighborhood and I look forward to working our way through the menu.

We are local to Montrose so we were pretty stoked about finally getting an Indian restaurant! This place was pretty good the lamb samosas were okay I prefer mine fried but the tikka masala and garlic naan were phenomenal the saag paneer was okay just a bit bland for my liking overall very good Indian food, the service was great as well. My only complaint would be the portions were just too small for the price especially the tikka masala

Stopped in for the lunch special after the Grand Reopening. The Lamb Korma was great, tender as promised in a very taste cashew nut sauce. Chicken Tikka was very good. Portions just right for the price and small staff very doting.
Need umbrellas for better enjoyment of outside tables on sunny days.

The food was bland and in no way "Indian food". (And I know Indian food from India, uk, and ton of Indian friends in US).
Everything has a syrupy sweet taste and herbs are super scarce in food.
Portions are small (and way overpriced given quality).
Service is good (although both waiters seem confused).

The food here used to be amazing but it has definitely changed based on my recent take out. I do like the papadam (dry crispy flatbread) that they serve in the beginning with tamarind, mango chutney, and mint yogurt to wake up your taste buds.
Service has been overall fantastic and the lady that works or worked here was very sweet. There was one guy that over suggests the same boring dishes over and over which I could do without. I feel like someone that knew how to cook is now gone but it's just a guess.

A bit disappointed and this restaurant experience. Two years ago when we visited here we had a fantastic meal with excellent service. We decided to give it another try yesterday. We visited the restaurant when there was hardly anyone there. We were greeted well, but then the beverage waiter was a bit disappointed with regards to understanding of the options explaining them. Their drinks menu is woefully out of date. All the standard Indian beers that you expect are not available.

Food: Butter chicken was very flavorful. The garlic naan was also delicious. However, the tikka masala wasn't the best I've had - it was too sweet for my taste. They also gave us complimentary dessert which was unique and good.

ordered murg malai chicken and Naan.. the curry was nothing less than dessert,, too sweet with stale chicken pieces,, Naan were half cooked,, tasted like eating flour😑😑 no option to give minus rating.. I would have given -10

Went to Cardamom on a Saturday afternoon! Service was GREAT - server was very helpful and funny, service was very quick.
We ordered 4 dishes for 4 people, 2 basmati rice and 1 garlic nan bread. It was a little much but we don't have a very big appetite.
We ordered #47, #50 #23 and a shrimp tandoori. All were very very tasty, good, best indian food I've ever had!
If you're sensitive to spicy, get no spicy or very mild - their medium spicy is pretty spicy!
Overall, very accomodating, kind staff, awesome food and I am very stuffed.. it makes you eat more than your fill!

As vegans that love ethnic foods, especially indian for their vegan options, we were excited to try a new place. We were going to call in but it turned out we were right down the street so we just went in and ordered.
The server/cashier guided us to the vegan options which were pretty elaborate, but nothing out of the ordinary. I settled with the Baigan Bhajee and she got the Aloo Gobi

I sat in the outside patio dining and felt safe. I ordered the chicken masala, garlic naan, and lamb biriyani clay pot. The biriyani was served inside a clay pot. At first, it looks like a small amount but there was a good amount of rice in there. I actually had leftovers to take home. All the dishes were well seasoned and the lamb wasn't "gamey". CHECK IN FOR A FREE SAMOSAS!

Delicious. The customer service is amazing. I made a mistake in my order and called right after I placed it and the gentleman made sure I was beyond happy. I had it delivered and it was about 20 min early, so that was cool except my dude wasn't here and we had to reheat it, so I'm not sure the flavours were perfect because of it, but it all seemed still so yummy and so very spicy.

Service here is fast and polite. Unfortunately, the food is incredibly bland for what is purported to be spiced Indian cuisine. I'm normally keen to avoid salt but there wasn't enough seasoning in any of the appetiser or entrée dishes we ordered. Mango lassi was okay but otherwise a disappointing dinner.
