Step through the door, and you'll think you've stepped across the border. Festive lighting, wrought iron detail, Southwestern throw pillows in each booth and an authentic Mexican tile floor create this fabulous ambiance. The cuisine we are creating at Chimayo is not like the typical Southwestern fare you may have had before.
We gather our Southwestern culinary style from a geographical region extending from Southern Mexico to Southern Utah. We blend these regional attributes with a progressive French-American technique of cooking, creating our own special style of food preparation that is truly unique and different.

Our name, Chimayo, derives from the sacred location (pictured above) in New Mexico. Situated in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the village of Chimayo, New Mexico is just 40 minutes from Santa Fe, along The High Road to Taos Scenic Byway. This special place is known for its beautiful historic church, but also features several weaving shops and delicious food.

Incredible food. Everything was perfection. Service was excellent. One of our dishes (rack of lamb) was accidentally not entered in the order system at all, and when that dish came out much later than the rest, it was comped, and we were given a selection of free desserts as well. Hard to get a reservation at peak times in this tiny restaurant, but very much worth planning ahead to get one!

Great spot for a nice dinner on Main Street. Delicious southwestern fare and expansive wine list. Our table ordered four entrees to share to try multiple dishes. We found the dried/fried (??) spaghetti to be an interesting choice of inedible garnish across the dishes. Dinner for five cost close to $500 with drinks + tip!

Food was really great and atmosphere was charming. Metal goblets made the drinking water taste odd. My only complaint would be that my party ordered a to-go meal for someone not eating in the restaurant and the waitress brought it out before we were even halfway done eating our meal so it was stone cold by the time we left.

Wow! Amazing, innovative and well executed food. It's a little bit on the pricier side but hey, you're in Park City and this is well worth it.
They were booked out for the night but we were able to walk in and get a table at 5:30. The complementary bread and cilantro sauce was very good. We got the house salad, duck enchiladas and elk London broil. All were incredibly delicious and well portioned but the star of the show was definitely the elk London broil. Perfectly cooked and so much flavor. Plus the tables were safely spaced out for covid and all the staff wore masks.
Would definitely come
