Always great service and they have a great selection of alcohol of everything kind !! Ant they have bomb pizza and sandwiches

I love this place. Close too the disc golf course with a great disc selection. Has all the amenities of your typical liquor store. But the real prize here for me is the pizza. Pep and sausage for 2.50 a slice and i know it sounds crazy but the pizza is killer, especially for being a liquor store.

Been going to lakes as a kid. Highly recommend as anyone new to santee

I used to go to this liquor store daily, used to....
I purchased a few snacks and a spray deodorant (random I know) the price tag sai
d $3.99, the guy behind the counter looked at it and manually put in $4.99, I didn't feel like saying anything. I felt I was already getting a good deal since It was so convenient to grab my deodorant at a corner store when I needed it so desperately, so I "overlooked" it, paid what they asked, and went about my day.
A week goes by, wouldn't you know it, I went back in for more snacks and another can of deodorant

Ok I went there two days ago there's a sign that reads half off I find two bottles to pay . I look at the total it's to much the guy tells me that these bottles not these are half off. I told him that's not what the sign say . He can back with do you want it or not . I bought one bottle shouldn't have but did. I went back today to see if things had changed. Same people were there. I talked to the guy he said he understood what I was saying then tells me what ever you pick half off ok I go to pay and there it is and I'm handed the phone it's his boss giving me an excuse . Look here I didn't put

I get a sandwich at Lakes Market & Deli a couple times a month. It's a generous size sandwich, tasty fresh ingredients, at a reasonable price. I always look forward to coming here. They do a great job!

I had a buddy over with his two kids. I bought a pizza (don't remember the size), four sandwiches, and breadsticks and paid less than $50. Have and will continue to go back. Super happy with their sandwiches and market place.

Place is fire! Amazing beer collection, and has a great selection of discs for disc golf to choose from. Now let's talk about the food. Got the Philly cheese steak pizza, was amazing! If you don't like this place, you're wrong! Here's a pic of what's left of the pizza. Will be gone soon.

All the workers friendly and fast get you in and out so quick, even the owner met him a couple times and he was welcome and super nice
There prices very reasonable and fresh, also the store kept it clean

I would give negative five stars if I could!! I bought a propane tank at this place about a week ago. I already had one on my barbecue and was using the last of it when that one was done I put on the one that I bought from there and it was completely empty!!! They sold me an empty propane tank and when I went back with the receipt and told them that they sold me an empty tank they told me too bad that I used it ! I already had dinner ready for my family to cook and had to run out of the house to try and get it exchanged now I don't even know how I'm gonna cook this fish!! Totally crooks

I was a regular customer of Lakes Market & Deli since they opened in Santee in the late 90's. For years I bought my kegs exclusively from Lakes. If I needed ice or beer or snacks or anything, I'd head to Lakes. I could walk to Lakes Market from my house.

Lakes Market is not just a liquor store. Oh, sure, they have every booze imaginable. They sport a very impressive walk-in cooler full of beer. Domestic, import, craft, all beer! They are a bait shop too. Heading to Santee Lakes for some fishing? Stop by Lakes. Full service deli? Hell yes. Lakes makes a great sandwich

First time getting Lakes Market pizza! The pizza was really good! Very reasonable prices only $12.99-14.99 for an 18" pizza! Couple dollars per topping after that. We've had sandwiches here before and they were also good. Not 5 stars good but a solid 4.368, I would say. They delivered to Santee via Grubhub and it hit the spot for sure. Will order again and try their salads.

My first AND last visit to this deli. Now that I'm working from home I no longer have access to good deli sandwiches so I decided to support one of the locals and to my dismay I was disappointed. My first question should've been can a liquor store serve quality food as well? Maybe. If the young lady who had just worked the counter (multiple customers) before coming over to the deli - without washing her hands FIRST then I would say yes. Cudos to her for at least putting on gloves. All that aside, I get home only to find that my sandwich had OLD brown lettuce on it. How does a deli at

I wouldn't normally order a pizza from a liquor unless it was part of deal like: Free Pizza with every case of (insert favorite beer). In fact, I can tell you that I never have. I must tell you that I trusted the reviews here and ordered with the full confidence that it would be comparable to 7/11 pizza. I just needed something quick.

Oops! My expectations were blown out the way as I delightfully indulged in my 2 slice limit with a 3rd slice.

In the late 80s early 90s there was a liquor store behind the 7-11. They made pizza too and the place smelled like pizza even when you went in there for an ice cream. It was awesome.
Lakes Market & Deli hits that nostalgia spot for great pizza at a great price. Sauce has flavor, the cheese is not cheap nonsense (looking at you budgets pizza places.)
The service is what it is. Its like bodega service. Local joint run by the local family. My favorite characteristic about the place is that even though I can see breadsticks on their menu, the three times I asked about getting breadsticks I was told

Best pizza in town, we love their fresh pizzas, they're always made to perfection. They happy hour is amazing, free pizza with a bottle of wine, can't be beat!
It's a small family owned business, the owner is super nice. On a cool summer night their patio is the perfect setting for a weekend evening.

I have been a huge fan of all the employees here, they are like family after 20 years of being a very repitable establishment, have to give a huge thank you all for the very hard work you are doing to provide the excellent customer service. Have to mention, my husband who grew up in the bronx and has always wanted a calzone to himself, my goodness, he let me have a part of it, damn, this is where you need to go if you want it done right.

Really good service and a family friendly atmosphere. Pizza is really good and for under $5.00 you can 2 slices and a drink. The sandwiches have great flavor and are made fresh. Could use more meat but I can understand how that could raise the price. $6.50 for the Santee Sandwich is fair.

Last night my husband ordered a tuna on sourdough bread, which I always get. Lately I've noticed that the bread has been stale! I was so disappointed because I feel that your standards must be maintained in or for people to keep coming back. This was my last try, I'm finished, sorry to say!

Love the owners. Very friendly, always helpful. Good location with decent parking. Outstanding liquor and beer selections. Lots of craft beer and obscure liquor brands. And they make absolutely mean sandwiches at the deli. Personally I love that I can call in my order and come in and grab it.

This place is over the top. Great selection of beverages and other items. Medication, snacks, a deli and great pizzas. The owner and the staff are super cool. Oh, and great prices too.

I have lived in santee since I was 8 (now 24) This place is still ran and operated by the same owner. Has such a family feel to it! Try the padre sandwich on sourdough :) you'll thank me later!

We've been going here for 20 years and tonight was the last time we'll ever get food from the deli again.

My sister and I got pizza slices and there were hairs baked under the cheese of both slices of pizza. We were pulling hair out of our mouths numerous times.

When we DROVE ALL THE WAY BACK and brought the pizzas in to show all the hair, the lady behind the counter blamed us and told us it was our hair. Didn't apologize, didn't offer to make it up to us at all.

DO NOT EAT AT THE DELI!
